THUNDER, LIGHTNING, RAIN IN THE NATIONS. 53 DEGREES, 30S TONIGHT. BUMMER!

GOT MY ERRANDS RUN YESTERDAY, TODAY WILL BE A TWO NAPPER.

AND IN THE NEWS:
BIG SUBWAY SHOOTING, BEING NEW YORK CITY, OF COURSE, THERE WAS NO ONE TO SHOOT BACK. MIGHT HAVE BEEN A DIFFERENT STORY, SAY, IN FORT WORTH. FUNNY HOW THE PLACES WITH THE MOST GUN CONTROL HAVE THE MOST CRIME.

DON’T EXPECT ANY MEANINGFUL ACTION FROM THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST DEMOCRATS TO COUNTER CRIME. THEIR MOST CHERISHED AND FAITHFUL VOTING BLOCK IS INVOLVED IN 70% OF THE CRIME IN THIS COUNTRY.

THE RUSSIANS HAVE FALLEN BACK, CONSOLIDATED, AND SHORTENED THEIR SUPPLY LINES. NOT A GOOD INDICATOR FOR THE UKRAINIANS. ALL SET FOR THE TRADITIONAL RUSSIAN "STEAMROLLER" FEATURING HUB-TO-HUB ARTILLERY.

NOT A GOOD DAY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD :-|

good morning, same here muggy, thunder and such. Stormed last night and then the naders are due in about the time I get off work this evening. Im so beyond sick of tornado threats and crap. Had more than enough around here.
Funeral was nice last night, not very many there of course she was 86 so not many left. Was disappointed in the family turnout, and only 2 people sent her flowers. funeral director said people just don't do that sort of thing anymore. He said people don't even send cards nowadays. We didn't get any. The flowers I got for her ended up very pretty and the table looked amazing. The arrangement was a lot larger than what looked like in the photo I saw. It still wasn't what I ordered or expected, no real color and it was more of a big bushy shape instead of tall, spring like and elegant that I'd asked for but they were very beautiful. I shared some flowers from the table with some relatives before heading home and one cousin helped herself to even more. She even took some of the 'butterflies' that were in there, only leaving me with 3 out of two dozen. I don't understand what made her think that was allright. Her and her husband and her sister and her husband came over after for food and she grazed, her husband did too. no card, no flowers, didn't bring food, but took . Please forgive me for being annoyed - anyone else have one like that in the family? Either way I did divide that huge arrangement between the two of the women before they left and sent them off with a bouquet of their own leaving me a nice one also. cleaned up the mess and went to bed. Much more to do still.
Hope y'all have a nice day and keep yourself under the desk with a book on your head for the storms coming around later if you're in our path of them.

Letty, as a general rule I've come to find that people suck.

Got my annoying phone call from the office as I was on a ladder, screwdriver in hand, hanging a cabinet door. Next was asked to sit at the nursery while Sue went to try and get a second key made for the Mustang. She couldn't do it without the car so I have been elected to drive the car to the locksmith. So many inconveniences. So little time. That should hold me over till the next aggravating interuption. LMTHFA

Good Afternoon CGs!

Muggy here. Warm at 69* but cloudy and we had a good storm roll through earlier. It's wreaking havoc on my sinuses. Had a nasty migraine last night.

RR#2 has a math competition this evening after school. Don't know much about it as he doesn't share much info. Apparently parents are not allowed to watch but can come to the awards presentation afterwards. Weird. My wife will attend. Hope his team does well.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Stang pics.Paid $8000. Add $500 for tires, $1400 for mechanical issues and tire mounting, $400 for paint touch ups. So we're into it for around $10,300. Less than 29,000 miles on the engine. It's got all new coils (8) and plugs plus one faulty injector replaced as well. Plus a few other minor issues. It drives great. Nice factory stereo, cold air (very important in Florida) and pretty clean all around. Drivers seat is worn.

That's a nice car Tommy. My biggest regret is that I waited almost 40 years to buy a convertible.

THE END OF THE DAY IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE BEGINNING. THE SUN CAME OUT AND IT GOT UP TO ABOUT 60. THE WIND WAS RATHER EXCESSIVE.

THE HUMMINGBIRDS ARE BACK, ONLY THE MALES SO FAR. I'VE HAD FEEDERS OUT FOR SEVERAL DAYS.

MATT, THE FIRST NEW CAR I BOUGHT WAS A RAG TOP: TR4A. REALLY FUN CAR AROUND TOWN, MISERABLE LONG DISTANCE. HAD TO TRADE IT OFF WHEN THE SECOND CHILD APPEARED.
