Morning guys, up and around. Will head east pretty soon. Meeting up with Marc about an hour west of where we are now.

We’ll stop and see Rosie’s dad on the way back.

I’ll check back in later.

Good morning, all.

It's now been about six years since we visited Normandy.

Returned on Friday from a very different trip—the classic "road ttrip for John's birthday," and the first one in three years. Bryn Mawr, Saratoga Springs, Portland (two nights), Montreal (two nights), Mount Washington, Queens, Bryn Mawr. 1,629 miles in seven and a half days.

ANOTHER DRIPPY MORNING, 66 ON TH FRONT PORCH, HALF INCH IN THE RAIN GAUGE. LOTS OF THUNDER AND LIGHTNING AROUND 0530. IT SEEMS TO BE CLEARING OFF; I'M ALL FOR THAT.

IT'S AUTO ROTATION DAY, HARVEY GOES IN THE READY RACK. THE PRISTINE TOMATO STAYS UNDER COVER TILL THE CAR SHOW.

AND IN THE NEWS:
LEFT-WING LIZ DISCOVERS THE "VAST RIGHT-WING CONSPIRACY",
(AKA THE AMERICAN PEOPLE). BEEN TALKING TO HILLARY, I GUESS.
AND TWO NEW FEDERAL OFFENSES: "MALICIOUS MISGENDERING" & "DENAMING"--- OFFENSES AGAINST THE SACRED TRANSVESTI.
IT'S A BRAVE NEW WORLD WE LIVE IN :-O

It's a 6"/30 caliber Mark 3—not one of the Navy's better guns.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Sounds like road trips all around. Nice story there, TB. Hope you guys enjoyed the reunion. And you certainly racked up some miles there, John.

Rained earlier, supposed to get more later.

Hope everyone has a great day!
