Hey guys, got up and decided to work on 007. The solenoid that opens the rear hatch has been acting up for a long time, and I tried several things, but nothing worked.

Last week when we went to watch Leo run, we drove 007 and when we got there, it wouldn't open for us (well, I finally did get it after messing with it about 15 minutes). I came home and started researching the problem again and ran across a Youtube video and it described the problem exactly and the solution. The solution was a new solenoid, but the solenoid only comes with the entire latch. I found the part number and searched, Found one on Amazon as well as other places (Amazon ended being the least expensive) $590 !!!

It was delivered Thursday, so today I thought it good to replace it. It only took about 1 1/2 hours and it works perfectly now. Hit the button and it opens.

Then Washed the Caddy after our our trip yesterday to watch Leo, and it was misty and rainiy the entire way, so really needed it.

This afternoon, a lady brought a small project by for me to fix. Then on to set up a new computer for a couple and transfer the data from their old one.

It's been a very comfortable day, sunny, mid 70s. Back to the 90s for the rest of the week.
