ANOTHER PRETTY MORNING IN THE NATIONS, SUNNY, COOL, AND CALM. 88 TO BE THE HIGH THEY SAY. SO NICE, BUT SUMMER COMING BACK THIS WEEKEND.

GOT ALL MY ERRANDS RUN YESTERDAY EXCEPT DOG FOOD RESTOCK. THAT WILL REQUIRE A TRIP TO TAHLEQUAH. I FEED IAMS AND IT'S NOT AVAILABLE EVERYWHERE. COULD GET IT IN MUSKOGEE IF I WANTED TO PAY 10% SALES TAX.

GOT THE NEW TOY CLEANED UP AND LUBED, LOOKS LIKE IT'S BEEN SHOT QUITE A BIT. IT'S TEMPTING TO GUSSIE IT UP SOME, BUT THERE'S REALLY NO POINT. NEED TO SEE HOW IT SHOOTS BEFORE I DO ANYTHING.

HAVE FUN, Y'ALL.

good morning - beautiful day again here today, wish I was home to enjoy it. will be nice here all week they say. Ambulance folks approved their design so I'll be getting that ready for print, had a lady waiting on me soon as I got here this morning. I at least like to get in here and get my poop in a group before I encounter people. Owner and a new kid is in the back working on a ton of yard signs that were ordered, asked me to help but preferred I get the ambulance ready. Ok by me, I HATE messing with those prints and junk. have some banners to do later also when all that in there clears out with the signs. Gym night tonight if I feel like it, at least go walk somewhere, then at somepoint I need to pull weeds in all the flowerbed at home, trim hedges and do my fall yard work. Probably ought to restock my allergy meds first.

Good Morning CGs!

Enjoying the semi-fall weather here. Not too hot and that's how I like it.

We'll see later if my latest shower fix worked.

Tommy, fridge fixed? We had less than stellar results from Sears appliance repair.

VB, hope you're feeling better.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Short version. (Since my long version disappeared into a new tab.) He came. I had what he needed to make life easy. I helped with taking off and putting on the door. He left. I double checked his work only to find the entire hinge side of screws, around 16 of them, were not tightened. Those screws hold the insulation strip between the inside and outside of the door. So half assed work is my job assessment. I actually knew how to do the job since I looked it up on google. The guy was older, out of shape, and made me wonder how the hell he does it. Well, does most of it.

Was thinking today about how long many of us have been posting here. Was thinking back to when Andy broke away from the other place and started Corvette Guru. Tempus fugit.

The serviceman came with the correct replacement part. Being the way I am I had everything set up for his arrival. Step ladder to undo the top bolts that secure the door, a table to work on the door that was cleared and ready, an extension cord, heat gun to work out the shipping bends in the door strip. I held the door while he undid the bolts, put the door on the table and then let him uninstall and reinstall the new door strip. Then brought the door back and held it while he secured the top bolts. As usual I go over everything after he left. The entire row of attachment screws on the hinge side were not secured. In place but not tightened.

Unfortunately that seems to be the standard, a lack of pride or competence in work.
