Good morning Gris, beautiful day here, perfect hammock day. I have a lot to do but probably won’t. Dude supposed to come out my windshield in today but no time was given , so I’m stuck here alllllll day to just wait. Kinda crappy. If the sun comes out good I’ll bag off the old tint and I need to start deep cleaning in the house. I didn’t sleep good enough to be motivated for that crap. Arron will be in Little Rock tomorrow working on his step mothers car so I’ll be stuck here I figure I’ll try to get my stripes and emblems on mine at least. Theresa a bbq fest and a bike fest I’d like to be at instead or Panama City beach

Unfortunately methinks the new generation doesn't have the testicular (or labial ) fortitude to take anything back but their improperly working cellphone. So happy to have been born when I was. God bless the U.S.A..

Hey guys, slept in this morning...didn't really mean to, woke up at 7 and thought I'll just lay here for a few minutes, then woke again it was 8:45. Jumped out of bed, but really didn't get motivated to kick it in gear.

Finally got out to the shop and sprayed some finish and then Father needed help mounting a TV on the wall so ran over there to help him while the lacquer dried.

Came home and ate lunch and flipped the pieces and started spraying the other side. Ran some errands and put the chest together.

It is for our local pheasant hunting non-profit org as an auction item to raise money.

Pics really don't do it justice. It's built from lumber I bought from the mother of a former student, that her husband had bounght 25-40 years ago and has sat in the storage shed since his passing 20+ years ago. It's a pine that has what is called 'blue stain" caused by a fungus. I decided not to try and cover the natural stain, but emphasis it with the clear finish. I think it is a great look.
