Hurricane will past west of us but we'll still see the effects of the outer bands which means wind and rain. 9-10 inches means my lot would be flooding. Forecast is 3-8 inches. I'll be lifting anything that needs lifting in the garage and back sheds. Made a high and dry spot for the tortoises last go round so thay should be good. Dottie the potbellied pig can come into the back patio if needed. I put the fish retention blocks around the pond yesterday. Have to run a cord out to the aerators in case water gets too high and I have to shut down the power out back. Even though we are outside the cone we will have some wet and windy impact. Oh well. Comes with the turf. Tampa area looks like the potential target.

GLAD YOU ARE OUT OF THE PATH, TOMMY.

IT'S RIGHT FALLISH OUT THERE, CALM AT THE MOMENT, 49/82%. THE SUN IS SHINING AND THE PREDICTED HIGH IS ONLY 82. THE CHEROKEES APPROVE. I MAY HAVE TO WEAR SOCKS THIS MORNING :-)

AUTO ROTATION DAY, HARVEY UP. DIDN'T PUT MANY MILES ON THE BUMBLEBEE LAST WEEK. MAY HAVE TO START THINKING ABOUT ANTIFREEZE, IT'S BEEN TWO YEARS.

AS ANDY SAID, TIME IS FLYING BY, HERE IT IS THE LAST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER. I WONDER IF WINTER WILL BE AS SCREWY AS THE FIRST PART OF THE YEAR? THIS KIND OF ERRATIC WEATHER LED INTO THE "LITTLE ICE AGE" SOME CENTURIES AGO. NOT A PLEASANT THOUGHT!

Morning guys... feels like fall here too. 48 earlier, 54 now, headed for low 80s. Calm here and 60%.

Got work to do in the shop. Got word my new shower base and walls should ship in 2 or 3 weeks. Need to keep that in mind as I plan out my time.

I watched the weather and was hoping you were going to be out of the eye, Tommy. But the outer bands can be pretty rough too. Stay as dry as possible.

Good Morning CGs!

Glad everyone seems safe down there, Tommy. You're a hurricane pro but doesn't make it any easier.

TB, sounds like you get to do some plumbing soon. Lucky you.

And yes, the month is flying by.

Hope everyone has a great day!

...it's a beautiful day in the hood.... crisp and clear... good deck sitting weather....drinking coffee and eating Mini Ciny Donuts.... (Ciny = Cinnamon) maybe should spell it Siny..... they are so good its got to be sinful.....

was getting so tired of the weekend and now getting to get back to work where we all belong....

Tommy..... have you considered putting in tile drains on your acreage? tons of acres of farm ground that would be un farmable without the those. Send that water over to the neighbors you don't like....

let's get it on Guru's........ nothing can stop us now!
