CLEAR,CALM, AND 56 IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, GOING FOR A HIGH OF 72. A PRETTY DAY TO BE.

GOT THE COOLING SYSTEM FLUSHED AND AF RENEWED IN THE TOMATO YESTERDAY OIL CHANGE TODAY I HOPE. THAT WILL REQUIRE A TRIP TO MUSKOGEE AND A COUPLE OF OTHER STOPS OVER THERE.

THE LEAVES WERE COMING DOWN LIKE RAIN YESTERDAY, THE DRIVEWAY IS TOTALLY COVERED UP.

AND IN THE NEWS: AFTER TWO YEARS OF KNEE-CAPPING THE OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY IN THE US, BIDEN NOW DEMANDS THEY PRODUCE MORE OR ELSE. IN SOCIALIST VENEZUELA INFLATION IS 300%. BIDEN IS TRYING TO CATCH UP.

IT'S NOVEMBER; REMEMBER.

Good morning Gris. I'm ready to see if this election will turn things around a bit. Interest rates out of the roof to keep people from buying anything. Of course "they" want us all to stay home and depend on government handouts or drive an EV that limits us to only driving around our small homesteads and not traveling. Either be poor as dirt and take the handouts or be rich as all get out and float above it all. Most of us are in the middle and in quicksand.
I do wish there was a 3-month medication for humans like there is dogs. Wonder why not? I mean if it's safe for them? Be nice to have that kind of protection from mosquitoes, wasps and such lol.
Have a very nice car trailer here to work on today, plus a blue dodge van. The car trailer will have his car on the side of it, a yellow Super Bee. He said he can bring it if I'd like to see it, was tempting. It's a true trailer queen car, mirrors underneath the works, it was 'over restored' by whoever he bought it from he said. He's about 225 large in it. Dadgum.
Yall have a great day!

Replaced the thermostat in the 928 yesterday. Had to take it back apart and re-use the old gasket because the gasket that came with it was smaller and didn't seal. Vaselined the old gasket and reinstalled and the housing seemed happy. Washed part of the fleet yesterday as well. The Suburban, 90 and 91 Corvettes and the 928 are dust free and shining once again. Still have to wash the 911's. Started and ran those vehicles before washing. I still have to put in new coolant in the 928. I bought it already just want to make sure of no leaks before I refill it. Charged up the boat battery as well. It needs to get some time back in the water. Too many hobbies. Never enough time. A couple of guys stopped in yesterday that had never been to the house before. They were amazed the mini museum and botanical make up of the yard. The older one asked if I would put him in our will. Don't count on it.

Recession? Florida has an overload of positions to be filled. Maybe the interest rates will slow the out of control growth in Florida. I would welcome that.

Good Morning CGs!

What's wrong Tommy, couldn't find any old Busch light boxes for that thermostat housing? I was pretty amazed the first time I saw a gasket be hand made. I have upgraded to gasket sheets with a punch set. Ball pein hammer still gets the job done, though.

On that topic Tommy it seems like you have too many cars to care for so I'll be happy to take one of those 911s off your hands. That way you'll be able to devote more time to the others. I mean who really needs that many sports cars, anyway?

Finished the drywall debacle up last night for the kitchen and bathroom. Repair came out perfect, can't even tell. Two coats of primer match the ceiling color pretty well so the wife said leave it for now. Ok. Repairing the basement bathroom tape joint now. Just finished the final top coat application, have to sand and primer that later. Never a dull moment.

Hope everyone has a great day!

...Howdy from out in the last bastion of common sense and decency.... otherwise known as Corn Country....

took Lil Red my 99 Step side short box in to get the engine bay detailed. It's a mess having never been cleaned up since 2003 when we bought the truck. I would do it here but then what do you do with all the grease and oil that is being washed off....? they are equipped to do that stuff and for $80 bucks which includes a wash... I'm going to let them.

So the detail shop is like 3 miles from my house so I threw in my restored Lime Green 1964 Schwinn Varsity I got in 8th grade in the back of the pickup and rode the bike home after dropping the pickup off.............. it took me awhile to crawl in the house and make coffee but I am almost back to normal.... since when did bike riding get to be so hard....??

try to be normal Guru's

Hey guys, busy last couple days. Yesterday we got all the framing done and the shower base set. My plumber buddy came over and did all the plumbing and we let the base glue set. Pre cut sheetrock pieces for the back wall and foot end. This morning I started putting the sheetrock up on the foot end by the time my help arrived. The back wall then and then the head end. While I finished screwing the sheetrock, my helper started patterning the back wall for the Onyx sheet 60" x 76". Once I had all the sheetrock screwed off we trial filted the pattern and made minute adjustments we transferred that to the panel, cut and installed. Then this afternoon we got the foot and head pieces patterned, cut and installed. then installed the soap dish/and bench seat. We'll wait until tomorrow to go back and clean the excess glue, then color caulk the seams.

Tonight, I have a KofC meeting. Better get going.
