Good Morning CGs!

Sorry, kept myself busy this weekend with kids and chores and errands and everything else.

Tommy, I think the new Corvette would suit you. It's hard to let go of the old favorites but what's wrong with downsizing to a vehicle you would enjoy more often?

Speaking of cars....I've been semi-silently in the market for another "younger me dream car" as you will. Guess it happened. Picked up this 2001 Camaro SS convertible on Sunday morning. Not a low mileage car but in relatively good condition and drives well. Needs a little TLC which I don't mind. And got a good deal on it so I'm happy.

That's it for me. Hope everyone has a great day!

Matt, how many cars and which ones are now in your stable?

Spent the day with friends from Boston. We picked them up on Miami Beach and hung out at the Hard Rock. Had a nice lunch and we spun a few reels. The economy screwed up a company sale deal my friend was working on when interest rates had the buying company back out. Crushed his dream of retiring. So it's back to the drawing board for him.

Well we have the two Hondas as our dailies. Then the 02 Corvette, 01 Trans Am, 01 Camaro, 88 Mustang. The Corvette and TA are on and under the lift. I parked the Camaro in garage for now but it will get moved over to my mom's garage this week. Mustang will be in her (oversized) driveway under a cover. Wife wants to be able to park her suv in the garage over the winter. Oh well.

Hey guys, up early and off to dental appt. Had to stop at the Chebby dealer to make an appt to do a recall on the pickup. The young man who wanted on me and made the appt, was, yea, a former student. Greeted me like old lost friends. After the arrangements I asked if they still had the 2020 corvette I saw that they had advertised a couple weeks back..."No, I think that one sold. But there is another one over there." So, I went through the showroom to go take a look at it. They really wanted me to take it for a test drive. 2022 Blade silver 2LT with Calamari interior. Didn't have time, needed to go get my teeth cleaned. When I take the pickup back to have the recall done, I might just take them up on the test drive. Oh, they were only asking around $90k. The thing I don't understand, is why buy a car if you aren't going to drive it? Used 2022 Corvette only had 265 miles on it. Got to admit, I really liked it. Extremely comfortable seats, luggage area bigger than you think (at least bigger than I was thinking).

Brought our great grand home with us from the 'city'. As Momma was working and didn't get off before daddy had to go to work. So we've been sitting with her until just a few minutes ago.

I think a C8 would suit you, TB. You and Tommy could be C8 twinsies.

PRIVATE PAY MAKES A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE IN LEVEL OF CARE.
LONG TERM CARE INSURANCE AIN'T CHEAP, BUT IT'S WORTH IT.
