By now I'm sure you all have put away your Kwanzaa candles and are ready to undertake the blessings of a new year. The past few years have generally been less than stellar and we now gradually partake in the new normal. With societal changes, economic upheaval, political unrest, global disharmony and the never the ending racial discord, I am sure we can still find much to rejoice. All is well in my little kingdom where I am police chief, govenor, fire marshall, director of policy and CFO. (Sue is the CEO). I am also the landscaper, housekeeper, detailer and general repairman (or repairperson) to be politically correct. I don't expect a major change in gender identification over the next decade or modifications in my work ethic. Still hate how modern conveniences have turned the world upside down. Technology meant to improve humanity has enslaved it. For sure to only get worse with the improvements in the field of robotics and it's incorporation for uses in the human body. Looking back we can all see what was once fantasy is now reality. I am so fortunate to be born when I was. Still grateful after all these years.

Morning guys....cold, clear and calm winds right now. Headed for highs in the low 40s. GS #3 is back in school, but GS #2 will be here in a bit to help me. Rosie is over in the 'city' to watch GGD until her mommy gets home from work (about 2).

I have stuff to do in the shop and a KofC meeting tonight.

I know what you mean Tommy. Many people can't go more than a few minutes without 'needing' to look at their phone.

Gris, I think that picture was of me, when I was about 12, when my older brother told me the same thing.....

Good afternoon. I swear I had a post in here but I dont' see it.
Got back from vaca Monday night, worked yesterday and today. Pretty busy today. '23 is coming in like a wrecking ball.
Issues with the house sale again, this time the title company is trying to discredit me and the lawyer as if we are being shady. Her DC says dementia although she never had it, lazy doctors just put that on there and it stuck. She signed deed in february, passed in April so they think we hoodooed her. Lawyer took it up there himself and notarized. He says they're way overstepping their boundary. WE changed companies and it gonna cost me $150.
I'm just ready to be done.
Is this day not over yet??

Good Evening CGs!

Still no snow on the ground so 23 is going well for me. As far as phones I'm addicted to mine. But when I'm on vacation up north and it doesn't work I don't miss it. Could be all the chores I'm catching up on. Speaking of chores finished up repairing the window casing that was damaged from the kitchen water leak. Never a dull moment.

Taught three TKD classes tonight. My feet are a little sore, time to relax.

Hope everyone had a great day!
