Boats back and the steering is working as good as it did about 20 years ago. New steering cable, helm and an assortment if other small parts. Nothing 2k couldn't take care of. Got my 83 911 baclk from the shop and I'll be damned if one of the repairs stopped working (interior fan switch), brakes and shifter started acting funny and the rear view mirror came off in Susan's hands. dropped $1300 there. The other shop hasn't started on the 91 yet. Got the oil changed in the Suburban this afternoon. Sue's Silverado is in the shop with an Climate controller problem and fuse panel replacement due to a couple of loose fuse positions. Doing my part to keep mechanic shops open for business. I'll have more for them I'm sure.

Looks like I'm selling my 83 911 to some friends of the family for 40K. Needs around 15k put in to be purrfect. That was a friends and family price and they know there are some issues. They'll take it from there. I would have had to spend several thousand more out of my pocket to command a higher price. So I'll just be happy I had a car for 16 years and came out well ahead.

Good Evening CGs!

Had a long day. Finally sitting down to relax for an hour before bed.

Snowed a little today but nothing stuck to the ground. Still cold. Looking forward to spring.

Talked to the shop owner about the Corvette yesterday. I'll be dropping off the deposit next week.

Hope everyone had a great day!

Good evening, was a beautiful day here, had eye doc appt and he put in something called 'plugs' in my tear ducts. Somehow they don't stop them up but rather keep the 'tear trough' along lower eyeline full and when you blink your 'tear film' is more like it should be. My eyes stay dry due to the computer work, this should help. will also help with allergies he says. How he maneuvered that tiny thing into there I have no idea. Felt real weird, too. Permanent ones in 2 weeks if this helps. Gym after then went to hip surgeon to see what their issue is with the follow up visit I'm supposed to have and no return calls all week when I've been calling them. This shot will wear off soon. Talked to his nurse I'm to be there Monday at 2:30 now. I told her either y'all get me tended to or I'll just go back to UAMS I have no issues either way. I just want fixed.
Congrats on the sale, Tommy and that orange one is beautiful. Marcus, how'd you leave a Harley shop and not find anything you need? You allight?
Matt, did I miss something? You getting a new Vette too?
Gonna sit here with my daddy's vintage Pilsner glass full of a hearty dark chocolate stout and relax.
