TIME TO DE-WINTERIZE OUTDOORS, ACTIVATE WATER OUTLETS AND SUCH.

A GLOOMY MORNING: CLOUDY, 70 DEGREES, HIGH OF 79 WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE RAIN THIS AFTERNOON. SURE LOOKS RAINY RIGHT NOW, COOL FRONT MOVING IN, I CAN SURE FEEL IT!

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY. THE WRENCHMEISTER'S APPRENTICE IS STILL STRUGGLING WITH THE BUMBLEBEE. SO FAR THE CURE IS WORSE THAN THE DISEASE :-O

GO GET 'EM, GURUS!

....finally we have moisture from above....not rain really...south Florida has taken it all but it is misty damp drizzly rain.... better then nothing right?

continue to go through the boxes in the storage shed... finally found some coins and such... have a sleeve of 1888 silver dollars that never have seen the light of day I don't think. They are like brand new...... $5 dollar gold piece....
found Milwaukee Road RR stuff from step dads father who worked as an engineer on the Hiawatha and other trains for 30 years.

Have dining car dishes and some furniture also off those trains. Very cool.... I'm kinda an old train buff... steam engines and early diesels.....

got lots to do........ keep looking up Guru's

Morning guys... yesterday was beautiful, for a track meet....not so much for the extreme drought we are experiencing. Today not so nice, cold (upper 30s now) and windy. Not the best day for Prom, which Leo has this evening.

Next week, we head for KC for GGD Dr appointment and GSs school play. We'll stop with GGD to see Rosies' dad.....not sure how that will play out. Rosie spent the day with him yesterday, but when it came time for her to leave, he got mad when she wouldn't take him home.

Hot and humid here in the Sunshine State. cut the grass atthe nuresry and the house. Everything looking better. The weeds are growing like .... weeds. The rain we got put all the plant life into high gear. Trying to stay on top of things but that can only happen if my phone doesn't ring. One day at a time. Sue told me yesterday "When you retired you said you would help me." My response was " I also told you when I reached 65 I was going to retire retire and that was almost 3 years ago." I still help her from time to time but I try not to let her make it a habit. I said "try". On the business front, only a couple of interested parties on the sale of the nursery. Business this year has been robust. Somehere between good and very good. Forces us to make money. LOL. When the business sells, one day, then I won't have to worry about interuptions.

Good afternoon. Absolutely beautiful here today but storms are coming. I hit up and got groceries , another plant, met a friend with some I picked up for her, came home and had clumsy disasters. I don’t see how I can be six feet from keys on the counter and then fall off . Got a wasp on the house and I’m not sharing so escorted him out with the broom and knocked the kitchen light down. Put veggies in the freezer and spilled a bag of peas. I’m holding down my patio chair and that’s where I’ll stay.
