The weather has turned here over the past few days. Cold and dreary. We had snow again on Saturday and might see it again tomorrow. It's the end of April.... ugh. Don't worry, Tommy will be along shortly to complain about how hot it is in Florida.

Marcus, I wouldn't worry about the red straw. Like you said, it will either sit in the bottom or get chewed up a bit. It won't pose any hazard.

Ya Matt....I'm in agreement on the straw..... may run it a few thousand miles and change the rear lube out see if any chunks come out but also to see if there is still metal flakes in the oil also.....

cool and kinda cloudy here.... need to pick up the office...when I do research and writing I tend to have papers and things all over the place..... yeah... I'm that guy...

good morning, beautiful day here, hasa been cooler last couple days, that worked to my advantage Saturday while out doing yard work. Had my newphew come help. He's actually my cousins' kid but he calls me "auntee" cause he's trying to be respectful, good kid when he can be. He raked around my yard and cleaned off the front porch before that and bagged up a bunch of leaves, then helped me all afternoon Saturday moving patio furniture sweeping, scrubbing etc. Gave him an Old Apple watch we were going to sell. He seemed pleased and I feel he got something for his time and I didn't have to jack with morons trying to sell it. Win/win. I cleaned house top to bottom after he left. Sunday I hardly moved, I hurt all over and still do but was glad what got done.
last night we got to see the northern lights. Barely. I really couldn't see it from my house but am enjoying all the photos and videos that folks shot with their long exposure settings, so beautiful. It's my dream to see those one day up close.
I agree with Marcus, leave the straw, drive and recheck later on.

Looks like we are in for some precipitation this week and climbing temps into the 90's if you like that kind of stuff. Had a visit yesterday with a couple of neighbors that moved a few years ago. One of my other neighbors stopped in and we all chatted a bit. Sonny-boy also stopped by for a vist t do his laundry, take a shower and so on. Haven't seen him in 6 months. We don't try to help him anymore unless he asks for it. He's still living as a minimalist. I don't expect that to change. He's off the grid.
