Taking the Corvette to the speed shop today so they can get started on it. No ETA on return date but shouldn't take too long hopefully.

Looks like I need some tires on the Corvette soon. Too much power and not enough traction. That will be a hard pill to swallow cost wise. Maybe I need to hit the casino and borrow some of Tommy's luck.

One of our main sources of income comes from people who think they can do whatever they want with their land. LOL. Down in The Keys they do aerial photos and know what plants are where. You can't just buy a lot and doze it over though many people do. Next comes the county with a, biologist, fine and and demand for restoration. That's when they call us for native plants. Not everybody has what we have. Sue specializes in native and threatened plants. So ..... the work continues. I tried to tell Sue to get someone to run the operation and just sit back an collect the money. Her response .... I can't find ANYBODY that wants to work.

Good morning, overcast here but rain has moved out. We didn't get a whole lot, but we didn't need it, either. I'd like to see a nice light soaker every other day here over the next couple weeks, just had the yard overseeded. The ice we had that hung around seemed to kill part of it off. Not the weed though, never those of course. Matt, hope the tire cost don't hit you too bad, I will be needing winter Rover tires and I dread that. NONE of those are cheap. These that are on there now have some weird foam lining or something they call noise reduction. Never seen that before.
Tommy if I was there I'd take over for Sue, then I could play with plants and get paid for it .

Sounds like a dream job to me Tommy.... if I wasn't so busy I would have to throw my hat in the ring... and if I was younger and if it paid a ton of money.... and so on...

So what up at the Speed shop Matt? are you buying more speed for the Corvette? That is a path that can run downhill very fast as the faster you want to go the more money you spend...

I recommend going with the Michelins right off the bat on tires... more money ya but you will run them a long time.

Rain here today and it is a good soaker... glad I got the fertilizer on and now all soaked in... the grass will no doubt explode in green growth so better have the mowers ready and waiting....

Car is at the shop for performance trans, stall, torque tube, and new tune.

Corvette needs 4 tires...that should run about $1200. Accord needs 4 tires, that's about $700. Wife's passport needs 4 tires, that's about $1000.

More cars more problems?
