Weeds..... that's what's on the agenda. My never ending battle. Sue is sending the trailer that collapsed on her to the welder for new buckles, springs, plates and hardware. Whole lotta rust going on under there. I helped her get it so she can transport it to the shop. Always something.

GOT OVER EARLY TO TAHLEQUAH FOR A HAIRCUT, NOBODY ELSE IN LINE SO GOT A SHAMPOO ALSO. TOOK THE TRUCK, AS IT'S SUPPOSED TO RAIN.

THE BARNCAT SHORTAGE MAY BE OVER. WHILE I WAS MESSING WITH THE RECALCITRANT MOWER ON MONDAY, A BIG ORANGE AND WHITE CAT STROLLED THRU THE OPEN DOOR. HE GAVE ME A "WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY BARN" LOOK AND CHOWED DOWN AT THE FREE LUNCH COUNTER, THEN WENT AND STRETCHED OUT IN THE SHADE OUTSIDE. OBVIOUSLY SOMEBODY'S CAT. THEN WHEN I WENT TO GET IN THE TRUCK AT THE BARN THIS MORNING A GRAY AND WHITE CAT BOLTED UP INTO THE WOODS. THE FOOD DISH WAS EMPTY. WHEN IT GOT LIGHTER I SAW THERE WERE CAT TRACKS ALL OVER THE TRUCK. LOOKS LIKE SOMEBODY IS HANGING AROUND.

we are fighting weeds including grasses also.... a weed is any plant that is not where it should be.... we are armed with chemical warfare.... we take no prisoners...

lovely day here but a big line of thunders coming across the west today wid all the trappings included....2" hail and high winds..... just the normal stuff....

I hate weeds. and I've used Preen and other things. My lawn guy gave me something called "over the top" but I'm afraid to use it. allegedly kills weeds but not my flowers and I can use it in the flowerbeds. I'm not where I can be pulling on junk right now weeds included so I'll have to pay the nephew or someone to do it for me. I'm stuck at home and walking around here seeing all the crap I need to do but can't. Being unable to drive and go anywhere is a drag too but days like today I just soon stay home anyhow.
Getting better by the day I feel like. Today is a week post op. Sometime during the night some of the swelling in my abdomen went down. I woke up and could literally feel it. Weird. Hope it stays that way, it's been driving me nuts. Incisions are still very tender to the touch and I have sharp pains in my right side I can't explain. Maybe they can. I got back the 18th.
