Sun is finally out, we need it to dry up all this monsoon we got. Records show 8.7 inches in my town. Shop, pool house, garage all flooded. Could be worse but bad enough as it is with everything else going on. All I can do is cry about it and then say fk it. Can't eat an elephant all in one bite I always say, I just need to be able to take my own advice. I'm spazzing and Arron has been level headed. We both have our breakdowns. We tried to take it easy this weekend, I wanted a trip over to Buffalo River and maybe hike, fish etc. He ended up promising a side job Friday plus had paperwork to chase down. He tries to stay busy best he can. He ended up running papers to his job and they had a truck there, been working on it for 5 weeks. Newer dude put a motor in it and couldn't get it to run. He'd been messing with it two weeks trying. Arron went back to see his boss and he was fiddling with it also so Arron asked what was the deal. He told his boss to get it in the air and he looked under it and found a couple of connectors swapped, one stretched too far. That should've told the kid it didn't go there. Arron swapped them and the truck started just fine. 15 minutes is all it took him to sort out some dude's 2-week issue. While he did that I cleaned everything that was sitting still on the back patio and organized. I still need to sew up cushions on the settee and put them back but that's about it. I want him to have a comfortable space out there. Saturday we ran all over this end of Missouri chasing down marketplace deals. We had fun with it and it took us to places we've not seen and met some nice folks. I also go to explore an abandoned beautiful church and took some cook pics. They're gonna tear it down I heard, all the stained glass has been sold. It was beautiful. I tried to find my way up to the bell in the tower but could not find stairs to that to save my life. There has to be ropes somewhere to ring it but couldn't find those either. I'll have to go back and pilfer more when I have time. I did look it up on Google earth, it was beautiful just a few years ago. Sunday was a pool day, yesterday we slept in and woke up to flooding. Soon as rain quit we got out and did more paper work stuff for him and picked him out a new recliner. He's been sittin in my old one he took over when we moved in together, he loves that chair but it's beyond wore out. I tried to get him a new one a year ago and he wouldn't have it. I figure he'll need a good one once his treatments start tomorrow. We'll get that picked up today and haul it home after work. Thank yall for keeping us in your prayers, we need em.

right at the top of the prayer list Letty..... on a bit of recovery today from the travel day... no more early flights.... but was surprised how much I enjoyed that area around Charleston.... not much of an east coast guy but I liked that area.... I do like a good palm tree....

back to work... but not feeling it..... I need more beach time.... beach time is the answer to many things Guru's
