Doesn't take much more than a squirrel or a small pebble to throw you off one of these in a corner!

We put the brave/expendable guys up front. I figure if I'm toward the back most of the hazards have already been crashed into or kicked out of the way.

Last weekend I was doing 60 and saw debris in the road, I was about to kick it out of the way and realized just in time that it was a trailer hitch!

Even a small dirt clod at 60 mph feels like kicking a bowling ball. Damn inertia.

If you ride bikes on the street, there's a good chance you're going to go down at some point. I've been down twive on my 750 over the years.

If you race bikes, you're definately going down. I probably have 200+ crashes.

I race a bike (racing bicycle) and have hit a stone (the size of your thumb nail) at 28 mph and hit a guard rail, flipped over it (still attached to the bike by the pedals)and broke both wrists.

Cost of a good time.

Those clip on pedals freak me the hell out!

Sounds uber painful, Runner! Dang...

I suppose the most fun things in life often boil down to your level of acceptable risk.
