The wedding was perfect in every way, nothing went wrong at the reception, and the honeymoon was amazing.

I won't have pics from the wedding and reception from the photographer for a week or so but here are some pics from the honeymoon in Punta Cana Domican Republic.

This is Sarah and I, at one of the best all inclusive five star resorts that you can get into for barely over $2K.

Thanks, and you're right, I sure did find a keeper. She offered for us to get married at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY, and she had only three rules for me when my friends and I left for my bachelor party.

Rule #1: If strippers were involved, they MUST be hot, or she would personally drive down and give us her own personal strip show.

Rule #2: No sunburn, we were at a Lake Resort, and she didn't want me burned and peeling for the wedding pictures.

Rule #3: If I was arrested for any reason, keep it to a misdemeanor and not a felony, and try to keep the bail under $1K.

She's a SUPER cool girl, and she's already on board for Steak and BJ Day, which we'll start celebrating yearly like Valentine's Day.

Congrats and great pics! So how much was your dowry? I figure it must have been big otherwise that girl's father would have never let her marry you

Huh?? I must be missing something... At least... I hope I am... Otherwise, sounds like an awesome deal to me... I like steak... Not nearly as much as I like the other part
(I really can't wait till JeffVette stumbles across this thread)

You may want to clarify that one... Or maybe not??

Again Congrats,

Hey what does "Over Chicked" mean? Is that like whipped or something similar?

Thanks everyone, I couldn't be happier. Actually all of our respective families get along great. I love her family to death, and Sarah likes my family so no issues there. Sarah's Dad actually used to be a Vette owner. He had a blue '76 when Sarah was a little girl and he's always asking me to drive my '77 to Louisville...which I will do once I get the TH2004R installed.

Steak and BJ Day - It's the man's version of Valentine's Day. Women have their day where they get gifts and pampering and flowers and chocolate and everything that chicks like. It's a very one sided holiday and if you treat them like princesses you might get lucky in return.

Steak and BJ Day is a day where men get the pampering, and all things that we like. The main theme is a steak dinner and, well, a BJ. I originally heard of it as the following month, on March 14th...however, I think opening Sunday of NFL football would be better.

Imagine, football, buddies, beer, cars, beer, steak, BJ, and IF she's lucky...she'll get lucky. LOL.

I'm telling all my buddies to get their wives on board and so far they all dig the idea. I mean, it's only fair.

Thank you very much. Being that we have been together almost 4 years and we've lived together for 3 years, being married to her isn't all that different. Yet in a way, it's still just not the same...it's better.

Who loves giving them? I certainly hope you don't mean me. I'm the receiver, not the giver, when it comes to BJs.

I agree with that. I have been with my girlfriend for 8 years and we don't want to have kids and I'm the one that don't want to get married, but I think having kids is over rated. Congrats again Matt
