Who's got what? I'd make a poll but there's too many damn choices. Keep it short! If you're planning on upgrading to a different tire, post that too.

Kuhmo Ecsta. Seem to be ok, but definately not very good when it gets cool out.

Bridgestone Potenza RE050A pole position

Very sticky, very expensive, very short tread life, but largest 17" offered is a 255. Boo.

That's what I just put on mine. Stick a lot better than my old Goodyears, even at 20mm narrower.

Have no idea about cold weather yet.

Firestones on the front. FSWOs were really good, running a set of older, but good firehawks right now and like them even better.

On the rear 315/35 Sumos for the street and a set of mounted Nitto 555Rs for the dragstrip. The Sumos are cheap and worth about what you pay for them. Good everyday street tire but the don't last very long. I only ran the Nitto 555s on day, they really hooked nicely. Now they are for sale.

I have Firestone Firehawks and am happy with them, but mine is a street-only car. I expect I'll either stick with Firestones or check out Cooper Zeon 2XS when the time comes to replace them.

Kuhmo Ecsta (Might be an MX in there too) as in Ecsta MX.

Staggered 17 and 18 for the Z06 wheels. I like them. Turning is much easier than with the Bridgestones that are on my sawblades.

I went ahead and ordered the Kumho Ecsta XS. Newer model, pretty cheap and supposedly their softest street compound, stickier than the Ecsta MX.

Plus I like that they are non-directional (also assymmetric), so I can rotate my 4 wheels/tires any which way I please.

And of course the Guru gets a cut because I ordered it through this link.

Hoosier A6

On the M3 I ran the BFG g-force T/A KDW or whatever they're called these days. Great tire, long life, excellent grip, stood up to track abuse, and cheap as hell. The only drawback? NOISE. They were loud.

The Michelin Pilot Sprot II's that were on the car from the factory were useless and twice the price.

I've got GY Eagle F1 GS-D3s (285 front, 315 rear). They were on the car when I got it and even though they're pricey and loud, they wear very well and really stick, even in the rain. The 96 LT1 I had prior to the LT4 had the BFG KDWS on it. Not a bad tire, it wore well too but the difference on wet pavement between them and the GYs I thought, was very noticible...

I have them on now ( came on the car ), excellent wear. I thought they weren't that great on the track but, I feel the same thing about my C4.

Loud as hell on concrete freeways.

I had the kuhmo ecstas on my stock rims, not sure which letter or designation, whatever. They were pretty good. When I got my new rims I put on riken raptors. I like them a little better than the kuhmos, but I've never heard of anyone else running them. They are dirt cheap, so I'm sure they aren't even close to as good as goodyears, but they are a budget z rated tire. A little loud on blacktop, not as bad on pavement - don't know why. Grip pretty well dry, slip a bit in the rain and hydroplane in big puddles. Not great traction in the snow

Sumitomos - I like them and their price.

Had Kumho Ecsta MX before. Didn't care too much for them.

Mine came with Hankook Ventus HRII on the sawblades, great tire in the rain but only comes max of 255, too small and only speed rate H (up to 130mph).

I bought new Sumitomo HTRZ (Z rated) 275's all around mounted on 2006 Z06 rims. They handle good in the rain. I only have about 2500 miles on them so I'm waiting on tread wear. They are an inexpensive tire so it's all good.

Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals. Affordable, look good, have the rim protector and they handle very nicely. Very happy with these. Last set were Sumitomo HZRs - good only to burn off on the strip...

I just bought 4 Avon 275/40-17, $415 delivered. I've had the M550's before and they're a good 3 season tire. Good price and good performance. I looked at the General Tire Exclaim UXP real close. $112 at Treadepot and good ratings. Comparable on Tire Rack, but the delivery charges killed it on either site.

Plus the Microsoft rebate on Ebay clinched it. Tires came out of NC, next day for me.

That was quick! Tirerack got em here in 1 day (and without tax).

These things are soft as bubble gum. Treadwear rating of 180 I'll be lucky to get 10,000 miles out of these.

2 sets of FSWOs, 1 set of Falkins, 1 set of Sumis and 2 sets of Bridgestones. The FSWOs do strange burnouts so I try not to break them loose. Don't ask me strange how? or I'll have to do more testing.
