I'm still steaming over this one. And as usual with me, it has a weird twist.
I'm coming home from golf behind a Corolla and the driver obviously has no clue where they're going. On a 2 lane 35mph road she stops dead, for no apparent reason, then goes. We reach a light and the intersection goes to a 4 lane road, it's also 35mph. I'm going left, so is she. She turns and gets in the left hand lane, I swing out to the right lane and begin to pass... you got it, she decides she wants to get in the right lane. I lay on the horn and brake, she forces me onto the birm. Stones hitting chrome wheels is a sickening sound, I thought the wheel was toast. I catch up to her, and tell her I have her license number and I'm calling it in. 3 old women, in their 60s and they all but laugh at me. I started to call it in, and then decided it wasn't worth the effort. I looked at the wheel, and it's not ruined. Not sure what pisses me off more, that she ran me off the road, or that the three of them were such bitches. I should have let the bitch hit me. I guess not all people acquire grace and wisdom with age. |

Regardless of age, it's reckless driving. If you still have the plate, you can probably call it in. She probably drives like that all the time.

Maybe they were doing it on purpose saying "Watch this" or they're old hippies copping a buzz and going for a cruise. After all lots of people who believed in Flower Power are now collecting Social Security.

I was driving the 65 Chevelle yesterday, and nearly got t-boned. The car forced me out of my lane into on-coming traffic. Driver didn't look or act any different (absolutely no remorse or apology) than the 4 uninsured illegals that hit my cars over the past 10 years...

I got all of y'all beat. I drive for UPS and all day long I deal with stupid, careless, cell phone junkies who CAN NOT maintain a constant speed, stay centered in their lane, use their turn signals, and go when the light changes. They haul ass past me only to turn right in front of me. ( no signal, their on the phone ). Pull out in front of me going pokey slow so I have to hit my brakes to keep from running them over. AND my favorite, rolling thru a stop sign to stop me from getting in front of them. I've got 19 years safe driving and every day some dumb ass tries to keep me from making it to 20. I promise to myself everyday when I start my truck, I will not slow you down, I will stop at every stop sign, I will go when its my turn, I will not set at a light oblivious to my surroundings. I stay alert and everybody stays ALIVE. :ace:
