I replaced my tb because my old one was worn and I like the look of the accel version and got a good deal. The size was not the deciding factor. Do what makes your wallet happy.

I am replacing mine for the same reason Matatk.
for me money isn't much of a problem. I do love junkyards. I picked up this plug in the bone yard this morning. It was on an 87 Camaro. It was in the same location as on the loom, Does it look like it will work guys,

Should work fine. It's not an OE style but as long as it's one wire no problem and that's a weather tight connection.

I assumed that was all that mattered. tomorrow I am going to try data master. Can that info be viewed on this site.
Before the 383 I tried tuner pro shut. it off all the time but had neat responsive screens.

Matatk Posted on: 2014/1/12 17:18
I used data master so I can't comment on tuner pro.

This throttle body 52mm should look good with the Super Ram. My omc one is not working up to par. Love Summit for shipping fast
The thread chasers are well worth the money. Wish I had them during the Super Ram install.

I need that thread chaser set. Look sweet!

I only need an engine that would make having that TB worth while...

I use mine constantly.

The thread files are a bit goofy though. Don't work all that well. A small triangular file works better. But with the chaser dies, I don't seem to have to file threads anymore.

and it costs out the ass, too. I deal with RockAuto all the time.

I found a heater core on rockauto for $30... the EXACT SAME part, same brand (Spectra) same number, at NAPA was $54!!!

Screw that.

Instant throttle response. I believe the throttle body isn't the problem. I installed a new Idle Air Control Valve when I installed the BBK. . Is there a learning curve for the ecm?

I am getting busy at work so I cant make it the 15th .but I could come over and bring my drag radials for you to use at one of the test and tunes later on . be happy to bring them over so you can see what she does . beats having to but a extra set of rims and tires unless you are going to go race a lot .

Thanks for the offer Brad. Some of my cousins fiends that help run Formosa Drag strip have a tire shop with lots of 1 or 2 time run slicks. They want me to bring in my vet and they will set me up with the right combination for a case of Bud light for my Birthday on the 22 of this month.

Will know soon stopping by there next Monday. Lol they are busy at Formosa this weekend
