Just like all the women I know...add a few years to their age and the rear end seems to expand

I hope one of the upcoming Gens of Corvettes get a slimmed down rear like the C3 / C4.

The C6 was smaller than the C5 but not by much.

I like the C5 and C6 designs, as they are part of the evolution. I didn't want to imply it was ugly or I didn't like it, just that it was indeed BIGGER!

Hey, no offense taken here. I've owned a C3, a C4, and now a C5.............they've each got good points and bad points, but I've loved them all. I suppose as I get older, the "comfort" part, coupled with not having to spend as much time working on the car, as opposed to driving it, carries a lot of weight. Besides, I get plenty of "wrench time" on Trae's C3!

The C5 is the car that I really fell in love with when I first started college. It was such an amazing looking car at the time. I'd love a C6 now, though

Yea, "The C5 is the car that I really fell in love with when I first started college." PFttt.

I can probably beat you, John.
When I started college, I was driving a '63.

So was I, but I bought it new in '63.

I have to admit I love his C5. It has a lot more creature comforts, is quieter (or was until he installed the Bassini exhaust), and quicker than my 95 C4. Just like others have said though, the C4 feels more like a sports car, the C5 like a cross between sports and luxury car. The C5 butt is bigger and somewhat exagerated in the picture as white shows up more than the black, plus the camera distorts the picture just a bit. Thanks for the compliments guys.

Glad to see someone's been driving Vettes even longer than me.

Yep, the C4 cockpit.

Big butts don't bother me as long as they're on a car.

Good Grief, trash up your garage a bit, you're making us feel bad.

Jay & I built this a few years ago to store the 'junk'. The Mustang is gone so now the Dodge pick up gets the shelter.

Mine has offroad bumpers, coilovers, radiators, motorcycles, a few extra overflowing toolboxes, no cars. Now if I had a kegerator in there that'd finish it off.

Mee too don't remind me... (EDIT, I know that was an old post btw)

Nice pic of the garage! always cool to see more then one vette together. I'd like one day to take a pic of my 95' along with my mother-in-laws 3 cars all blue with dark interior (all except the C3 have black interior)

We have a C4 and a C5 and the butt is one of my favorite parts of the C5 and one of the worst parts of the C4! It is too small and not defined enough on the C4 imo. Man, your garage is making me feel bad. We keep our house spotless because the wife and I both are OCD about our living area...the garage on the other hand catches all the mess. We do a thorough cleaning about 4 times a year and it seems to be junked back up in just a few days.
