I'm settled in - got my spotters guide, my provisional grid, my entry list, and my Speed HD. Who else is watching?

I am, for now.
I'll probably leave the TV on and also catch the finish but, I don't enjoy watching that much anymore.

I am for now...however, there will be a big break in the middle for me 1100-1300 since speed channel will shift to some STUPID programming before returning to Sebring at 1300 (speed is becoming the NASCAR channel)

Yea, probably N-Ass-Car Racing Chefs, Fast Track to Fame(Ass Car American Idol), What's the Deal? (new, discussion with old, tired, former drivers), Sounds of N-Ass-Car.

Or they could a rerun of the drivers playin' golf or another tour of Kenny Wallace's bathroom.

yea... heard about that one over the PA... we were waiting for a tram.

The weather is PERFECT. 80 and sunny with a light breeze. We are at the house now watching on TV and will go back in a couple of hours to watch the end live.

Hee, Hee, Hee

Fires aren't fun though. He sure drove a long way lookin' for the fire crew. I saw a flame in the cockpit once and had the car off the track andstopped in 10 seconds. Screw the car, I'm outa here.

I certainly don't wish Scott ill, and car fires are scary. It does seem, however, that Ferraris are more prone to this specific issue than the other GT cars...

Yea, it does seem that way. It happens, this stuff gets taken apart and put back together so much. And the components see very high loads.

It's like when Lou G's Corvette burnt while Boris was driving last year, carbon fiber laying on the exhaust after a light hit.
Of course, Boris was on the radio asking how many laps were left thinking maybe he could finish the race while it was burning.

Then there's crazies like me, in my car there's a quarter inch of foam and a piece of 16 gauge aluminum between my back and the fuel cell. I'm laying on top of the damn thing.

We got back about 90 minutes ago. The traffic was real easy to deal with.

We watched the end of the race from the Corvette Corral.

The Corral is located just at the paddock drive over bridge, outside turn 17 (Sunset). Ken and I chased down the armadillo! Got a couple of pics of the stupid little feller.

Next to us was the Porsche Platz and next to them was a rather lame Jaguar corral.

The flyover was done by a vintage P-51! AWESOME!!! Love the rip of those Merlins. drool.

Saw a cat running down pit lane with about 10 minutes left in the race too. Sebring, anything can happen.
