With the advent of my new paint job, I did the Zaino thing.

Man... I forgot how nice a shine that stuff leaves. I still say, it's best for new cars or new paint.

My buddy Scott has a very nice Bimmer that he used Zaino on. He's a total Zaino snob, but I'll attest it gives him one of the best shines I have seen on a car. The best part is it's smooth.

He showed me once using a soft blanket. He put it on the hood of my Vette, which is a much steeper hood than his. It almost stayed put. Then he put the blanket on his hood...slid right off. Considering the differences in slope it was amazing all by itself.

I have used a lot of their products and have to agree that they have some good stuff. I especially love their detail spray, but have also grown fond of Adam's detail spray too.

I have done many side by side tests at home and it can be very difficult to really tell the difference between products. For me it comes down to price, ease of application and removal, and of course final results. I like when I throw the rag on the hood and it slides off!!

Count me in. Zaino is really easy to use, and my car shines like I never thought it would.

Zaino is a good product, it's just inconvenient to buy. I've been using Mother's and or Meguire's clay bar and followed up with Meguire's NXT. Works great. I went through a rain storm last week and the Vette didn't get dirty. Of course the back end accummulated the usuall debree, but it just wiped off with Meguire's detail spray. I,too, like it when you throw a micro fiber towel on the hood and it slides right off.

I too like the Mequire's products. I just bought a clay bar kit from them and the NXT for the C5. I used the system on the C4 and was very impressed with it. Also use the detail spray.

Now all I have to do is get it done..........
