It's the little crap that takes the most time. The heatercore mount had a rust hole so, it had to be cut out, a new piece fabbed, welded in, grind & paint. At least I didn't have to worry about cosmetics, it's covered by gaskets.
Took all morning but, a new one is $90.00.

I had a welding course years ago. It is something I just couldn't get the hang of and I really miss not being able to do a decent weld. My hat's off to those that can.
Wouldn't want to do it for a living though.

I'm just a so-so welder. But, I did weld that part without using a welding helmit.
