Cool! Love the orange / red ZR1 and my favorite is the 50's number 3 car. What is the story on it?

The color is Inferno Orange, new for '11. The #3 car is the 1960 Le Mans class winning car. It belonged to Chip Miller and his son Lance now owns it. Lance took the car to Le Mans this year for the 50th Anniversary of the win. Lance brought the car to the NCM and offered rides in the car. We were lucky enough to get to ride in this wonderful car. What a Thrill! I will try and post some pictures soon.

ok, Bruce... now I REALLY hate you.

A ride, even a short one, in a car of such history. Damn. A lightening in bottle moment.

That is a real classy move by Lance, too. Super classy. His dad had to looking down and beaming with pride.

It was very special for both of us. The ride was really cool, what a great car, it performed beautifully. Lance is a great guy, very down to earth, his dad would be proud.

Even if the ride was only for 1 minute, that was so very nice of him to do that.

I still cannot get over the class that this shows.
