There was a Corvette show Saturday that I got to attend with some good friends.
I drove down a bit south with Andrew and his awesome 1996 LT4, Kyle and his WBY 1972, his brother as a passenger, and another couple along for the ride. Here are some pics. This owner SWORE this was a completely original 1978. LOL. Yes, that blue C3 was very well done. My favorite was the 66 427 / 390 car.

Nice pics DB. I didn't know that the 78 had factory side pipes...LOL..That blue car is very clean looking. The yellow car beside Andrews is that the friends that went down there with you guys? Looks like some good weather too.

I had to bite my tongue when that guy was telling me the '78 had those pipes stock. Yeah the weather was good. Cool at first, got very sunny and comfortable, and I got a bit pink on my face and neck. The WBY next to Andrew belongs to Kyle from TN. He drove up to stay with us for the weekend. I met him over at DC. When he got up here I told him of the show Saturday, and he was stoked. He ended up getting an award for furthest distance traveled, and he had the only pre-'73 C3 Vette. |
