Well, my garage looks like crap but that's only because there's so much shit in it.

I'm done cleaning but, it's not clean like I want. I'm done rearranging at least until I get my new compressor and glass bead cabinet.
It's amasing how the shelves fill up when you take a car totally apart.

Looks like a working garage to me - when I'm in a garage like this, it's usually with someone who has a lot more knowledge and experience than I do...

Looks great. Your not entertaining in there. It's a workspace. When are you gonna get crackin on the 67? You do want to drive it someday; Don't you? Only kidding. I know you've been cleaning, painting and assembling parts and hardware.

I was playing with it this a.m.
There's many boxes full of small stuff to work on before i hit the $$$$ brick wall.

My roof leak's fixed, the snowblower's ready, nothing to do now but play in the shop. At least, until I het the air compressor, then I have to find a place for it.

My garage is an absolute disaster... I inherited a ton of tools from my Uncle-In-Law when he retired from the garage/autoparts biz... I have been sorting through those.

I plan on selling a pot load on Craigslist, tonight, more than likely, I will post the ad. Hand tools, an electric drill, 3 differet toolboxes... I figure I can ask $100 for the set up, it would be a bargin for a first time too buyer, I suspect. Many of the sockets are Thorson, Craftsman or Mac.... The wrenches are a mix of I donno and Craftsman and the ratchets are craftsman and otherstuff. There are some 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" drive, plus some deep sockets and standards.

The toolbox itself it literally full to the brim.

And I am not done filling it!!!

You don't have near enough shelves, Brad.

Brad, You need to start going to yard sales and craigslist. Start filling up all that empty space. To bad you don't live near Andy. You could pick up some extra tools. Never know when you might need them. You should always have at least two of everything.

I'm digging the little slab under the top box of the rollaround chest. Nice little hard surface to work on at the box with a few more inches of working space.

Thanks, Don. That's a 20 x 32 worktable for the racetrack. The roller fits just under the workbench in my race trailer. I built the top to use at the track since the roller is always out of the trailer sitting beside the racecar.

The top has 2 reinforced holes with 2 that match them in the trailer workbench. All I have to do is push the roller under the bench and pop in 2 L shaped pins that I made to secure the roller for towing.

Ha, I just drive the Black Rose one, don't seem to have to work on it like most do.

Nice shop, very well organized. If you could see mine you would see why I say that. Ever thought of saving back the stock drivetrane of the 67 and putting something hot in it instead? I was just wondering.

No, since it's numbers matching and since I have all the stock parts, it's going to be stock.
And having a hot street car hasn't interested me in many years, if I'm putting dollars into a fast car, it's going on the track, way more bang for the buck that way.
I like the stock cars better anyway but, if I had the bucks, I have a couple stock ones and would build a resto out of a non-numbers matching car.

What really has my interest is this car, a 62 sitting on a complete C5 chassis and interior.

Shoot seems Im always cleaning organizing and throwing stuff out, cant stand clutter. Threw out 7 truckloads of parts and "stuff" when I moved a few months ago and seems little by little it starts piling back up. Lots of stuff to ebay. Now that the cars done got some spares Im gonna let go of and create some space. May let go of the cherry picker and eng stand too, dont know when Id use them again.

Only been used once. Course murphys law says if I sell the picker Ill have an engine problem and need it maybe Ill let it collect more dust.

Oh yeah, that is just about perfect! About $135K, if I recall. Perhaps in my next life.

You can probably afford it. Sell the house, add a trailer hitch and a camper-trailer. Good to go.

IIRC, I looked at some kits, about $20k + $19k for a C5 + $5k for paint.

I did give some thought about getting a motorhome and a 10 car garage with no house.
