I need to replace the inner tierods on a 1991.
I generally know how to replace the tierod on any other car, but wanted to know if there is anything specific I should know about trying to do this on my vette?

Maybe a guide that someone else has written.

I know I will need to get an alignment when I'm done, and I have a lifetime alignment warranty already on my car so I'm good there.

Just want to know tricks/specifics to keep me from doing any unintentional damage.

Simple. jack car up, turn wheel to allow access. Take cotter pin out, uncrew nut. Losen tie rod at inner tie rods connection, MARK it. Then push or tap tie rod out of knuckle, then unscrew it off. Reverse for install. Torque nut to 35 ft/lbs for tie rod ball joint.
Tighten nut up to tie rod.
I would recommend doing both at same time, so they are equally tight. And then get it aligned.
