2009 Corvette ZR-1 Preview

My club, www.BayStateCorvetteClub.com got the following email:
Quote:

Corvette Club Members,

Would a sneak preview of the 2009 Corvette ZR-1 and a meeting with its designer Kirk Bennion, the Chief Designer of GM’s Corvette Design Studio, be of interest to your club members?

The Attleboro Arts Museum is proud to preview the super-charged 2009 Corvette SS and its designer as part of its Viktor Schreckengost-Legacy Exhibition running from March 21-May 16.

GM Chief Designer Kirk Bennion was a student of industrial designer and educator Viktor Schreckengost. Mr. Schreckengost taught for over 70 years and it is estimated that every living adult in the United States has used objects designed by him or one of his students. As part of the Museum’s tribute exhibition to Mr. Schreckengost, we have asked his accomplished students to display some of their own creative designs. Kirk Bennion and the 2009 Corvette SS are a wonderful example of Viktor Schreckengost’s influence, and the Attleboro Arts Museum is pleased to spotlight this extraordinary vehicle and its designer.

The Museum will be hosting a presentation and Q&A by Kirk Bennion on Saturday, March 29, 2008. This unique event would offer Corvette enthusiasts the chance to view the 2009 SS, meet with Mr. Bennion, and tour the entire Viktor Schreckengost-Legacy Exhibition.

2009 Corvette ZR-1 Event Details
• Date: Saturday, March 29, 2008
• Time: Four presentations are scheduled for: 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm.
The first 75 registrations to be received will fill the 10am presentation slot; additional registrations will be assigned the 12pm slot, and so on. All tickets will be mailed in advance of the event, and are required for entry.
• Cost: $50.00 per ticket. There are no group discounts or refunds.
• Location: Gallery of the Attleboro Arts Museum, 86 Park Street, Attleboro, MA 02703. Both the presentation and the 2009 Corvette ZR-1 will be located in the Museum’s gallery.
Note: The gallery will be closed to the public for this day of special ’Vette events. Only ticketed visitors will be permitted to enter. The Museum is handicapped accessible.

We look forward to seeing you at this exciting event!

Sincerely,

Chuck Tramontana
Trustee/Attleboro Arts Museum

I wonder if GM will have a viewing of the 09 ZR1 in the south eastern region this year? That would be really cool!

The email went out to all NCCC clubs.

Your best bet would be to contact them and see if you can arrange a showing.
