Silly question... I do have plans on building a bigger motor... but... would this work on an otherwise stock motor? Or would it just drown it out?

It would work fine on a stock motor, the regulator would just send back what is not used

that's kinda what I figured, but wasn't sure.

This becomes an issue of duty cycle vs load.

I'm in, too. I am concerned that the water infiltration in my tank has caused it damage. The check valve seems to have stopped checking.

Outstanding. Working with the vendor now to get vehicle specific install kits, price on them will be roughly $15.

I got more definitive information after having these pumps tested by an independent company. To run this pump you WILL need to have or add a Hot Wire kit.

Sorry for any troubles, we literally just got the results of the testing.

What does the Hot Wire kit include and what is required of installation? Price?

Hot wire is a relay kit, with larger gauge wire. I do not have them in stock at the moment. Other vendors carry them (jegs has an LT1 specific kit from Casper's) or you can DIY
