Our new Centennial Edition coupe has a rear spoiler which closely resembles that of ZR-1 instead of the "standard" spoiler. Other Centennial Editions I've seen also have the ZR-1 like spoiler. 2012 coupes in other colors have the "standard" spoiler.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the spoiler and how it looks on the Centennial Edition. Here's the kicker - nowhere in any equipment list I've seen for the Centennial Edition is there any mention of the spoiler. You would think they would mention this as another benefit.

that is an interesting point... I can't believe GM passed on a shot at self promotion.

I'm betting the factory did it this way so that the satin black center stripes would wrap nicely. I just don't know why they wouldn't have sold this as another part of the (not particularly cheap) Centennial Edition package.
