Good Morning CGs!

We got a tiny bit of snow last night. Cars are covered, roads look clear. I was liking the warm weather, sun, and clear roads It's supposed to rain some more and then I'm not sure.

So after two years of looking, my neighbor bought his dream truck last night. 2012 Ford F350 6.7 diesel, full crew cab, 8 foot bed, navigation, loaded. Wow. It's nice. It even has heated and cooled seats. He got a good price from the dealer, but heck, that's still $60k by the time you roll in taxes and paperwork. I'm happy for him. I'm even happier he bought the extended 125,000 mile warranty! Ha.

I did drop my exhaust system off at the shop yesterday. Next step is getting the car over there when the weather is clear.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Glad it went better than this ;-)

We got our biggest snowfall of the year last night, about 2 inches. Seems that most folks have forgotten how to drive in the stuff. Meanwhile, I'm getting ready to go to Puerto Vallarta on Sunday and have discovered that some of my shorts have shrunken in the closet.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Dang that closet shrink....the government should fund a study on that.....I can see the sunlight trying to peek through the clouds. Last night we had a thunderstorm with lightning and everything.....it was good to hear thunder again.

More work less play today...gotta go....be safe!

Robert, 85, married Jenny, a lovely 25 year old. Since her new husband is so old, Jenny decides that after their wedding she and Robert should have separate bedrooms, because she is concerned that her new but aged husband may over-exert himself if they spend the entire night together. After the wedding festivities Jenny prepares herself for bed and the expected knock on the door. Sure enough the knock comes, the door opens and there is Robert, her 85 year old groom, ready for action. They unite as one. All goes well, Robert takes leave of his bride, and she prepares to go to sleep.

After a few minutes, Jenny hears another knock on her bedroom door, and it's Robert. Again he is ready for more 'action'. Somewhat surprised, Jenny consents for more coupling. When the newlyweds are done, Robert kisses his bride, bids her a fond good night and leaves. She is set to go to sleep again, but, aha, you guessed it Robert is back again, rapping on the door and is as fresh as a 25-year-old, ready for more 'action'. And, once more they enjoy each other.

But as Robert gets set to leave again, his young bride says to him, 'I am thoroughly impressed that at your age you can perform so well and so often. I have been with guys less than a third of your age who were only good once. You are truly a great lover, Robert.' Robert, somewhat embarrassed, turns to Jenny and says, 'You mean I was here already?'

Hey Matt .... For 60 K you better be able to sleep in it. Tell him to order a slide in camper for the bed.

Some asshat dropped a month old kitty outside the nursery on the street. I'd like to drop that sonofabitch in the middle of the Everglades and see how well he does surviving.
I've got the mid day drag ass blues. Trying to power through it so I'm having a mid day cup o'joe. It's either that or a nap and the nap doesn't have a lot of potential.

Yea, they've been driving that thing here for over a year.

Like the crap Ford that parks itself, it's just another "advancement in technology" for incompetent people.

Picked up my truck from the dealer tonight. Had the new hatch struts installed...probably the last thing under warranty. I had a sentra as a loaner car. What an absolutely boring and uninspired car. If I had to drive that car everyday just to get 35 mpg I think I'd drive off a cliff.

I should be able to drop the vette off at the exhaust shop tomorrow evening as long as the weather cooperates.

Nevada is known for taking a gamble. I understand test vehicles have been taking alternate routes focusing on The Mustang Ranch.

Well, the route's not as easy as it was, afret the feds busted Joe and bought the whole place (which made it hard on the customers ) they (the feds) sold it to a guy but it didn't come with the land so he had to move the whole shootin' match, buildings and everything one exit down I80. , which made it confusing for us who had been to the origional location.

Why do people drop off little animals? That's shitty. I can't stand cats but that is mean to do to any animal. Just take it to a shelter, geez....
Was a really nice sunny day here too, hated to be indoors, but if it weren't for work I'd have slept all day. Chased my tail since this past Wednesday - stressy work, then side job work till 11 at night, finished up Friday about 5. Then next morning, cousin's husband was admitted to hospital - sat up with her some, he passed this morning. Now his family is being shitty to her. And tonight I was sitting up at the ER with her little sister who ended up with a kidney stone. And, I've been praying for financial blessings and have had a poster project for a friend, posters, flyers and logos for the local Biker Classic here now that D.A.R.E. has taken it over, a book for Rotary International, another one coming from them in a couple months, some special section headers for the local newspaper and another book from them due in May - a hard bound book to be left in hotel rooms for local attractions, etc. Not sure why my financial blessings can't come as easy as Bills'... not fair. I bought two lotto tickets and four scratch offs and won nothing. nada.

I still will make good on my offer of free room and board and perks for a good man who likes to wash pickup trucks, vettes, will do dishes, laundry and vacuuming and cook on the grill and keep beer and groceries in the fridge...
