OK! It's really Tuesday the third. This is just to mess with Matt's head a little more. Kind of an April Fools week joke.

Yesterday I was playing Mr. Fix It at the nursery. I started with the rusty wheel and hub and moved on to a wheel barrow frame and a couple of carts they use to pull plants around. The wheel bearings had disintergrated on some of the wheels and there were a couple of flats. Kinda messed up my plans for the day. I guess I really don't have a plan. More of a guide. Guess I'll work today on what I planned on working on yesterday. It's a beautiful day today in South Florida. The AM hours anyway. The afternoons are quite warm. I had hoped to run the boat in the yard, yesterday, and and take it for a spin today. Hopefully I'll drop it in the water sometime this week. See how the weather holds up.

Good Morning CGs!

Tommy, I don't need your help messing with my head, I have a wife for that!

My Xterra needs brakes. Checked on rockauto last night and I can get raybestos professional rotors and pads front and rear shipped for $251.65. Not too bad, I thought. I'm gonna check with my buddy who gets wholesale prices at carquest since he buys so much there and see his price, too. Should be close, maybe better.

Supposed to get up to 75 today then get colder, another shift in the winds. I don't understand weather

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Greetings! Had some hail and thunder last night, made it a bit challenging to get to sleep. So I see a nap in my future. If you're moving a little slow today, check this out:

Good morning is it Tuesday?......the 3rd? Its Uwomans bday so I better remember.......got her a new iPad but it won't show up for a couple of weeks. I will put the reciept in the card along with some flowers sent up to the school where she teaches and other stuff.....

Regular work no breaks....got paid for the wrecked Envoy yesterday and went up to clean it out. Kinda sad I get attached to machinery that does me a good job over a long period of time. I never spent a dime on the car other than service and tires....it had 87K.

Matt if you will pay close attention to this girl she has weather all figured out and she will give you a few pointers........arrarrarr.....No wonder Tommy knows so much about weather....he studies this girls teachings a lot I'm thinking.....Let's roll Guru's.

Morning guys...The wife is out of town with her folks, MIL has an appointment with a surgeon today and the wife decided to take them and hear what the Dr says.

We have been getting some nice rain the last 12 hours. Very springtime type storms, thunder and lightning. Today GS has another baseball game, so I'll get nothing done after school.

I hope everyone has a great day.

I knew there was more to the story!

------------------------------------------------------------

Osama Bin Laden was living with 3 wives in one compound, and never left the house for 5 years.

It is now believed that he called the US Navy Seals himself.

I'm just saying.......

That theroy is just wrong.
There's 60 minutes per hour so:

Men have a thought every 5 minutes

4 times per hour they think about - sex

4 times per hour they think about - cheeseburgers

4 times per hour they think about - beer

The rest of the time there's just a mild background hummmmmmmmmmmm.

I think the biggest difference between men and women is this: Men are basic. Just basic. There's not a whole lot of frills. That's why, ladies, when you ask a fella a question, the answer you get is, "Iunno (I don't know)." Basic. Women are details. Details, details, details. Yeah. If you don't got the details, do not talk to a woman. I'll give you a great example. My friend Joey and I were working out at the gym the other day. Joey says to me, "Hey, man. I'm getting a divorce." and I said, "Oh, that sucks. Can you spot me?" That was our whole conversation. I understood it, he understood it. So I go home and I tell my wife, I go, "Hey, Joey's getting a divorce." "Oh my god! What happenned?" "Iunno." She said, "What you mean, [makes grunting noise]? Was he cheating on her? Was she cheating on him?" I said, "Again, baby, I don't know. I'm not holding anything back here. You got a better chance of getting answer out of the dog!" And that's when it hit me: that's why dogs don't talk!
You see, ladies, men have three basic needs in life. That's it. Three: eating, sleeping, sex. That's our whole day. And I can do all three of those in my truck. By myself. In traffic!

Good afternoon Gurus.... Sorry for the "Pop-In" "Pop-Out" syndrone but I'm really trying to do too much each day and I'm usually so damn busy during the day at work I hardly have enough time to drop in and write a note.

Matt - I don't know if you have 4WD and if that makes a difference but on my Xterra the rotors and hubs are integrated into one piece. It was a PITA to change rotors and pads on the front.

We had our first NCCC Autocross this weekend. I had some fun. Drove the Miata in the open class and kicked some Corvette butt!! LOL Most of the good Corvette drivers could beat my lame ass, but I still cooked a few Vettes. I also got to drive shotgun in a race prepared C5 that was FTD. The driver is one of the best AXers in our NCCC Region. I couldn't believe the difference in his 55 second run and my 65 second run in the Miata. Ten seconds is huge!!! I had a grin from ear to ear when I pulled my fat butt out of that car. I also learned I need to lose about 75lbs to comfortably fit in them tiny racing seats!!! LOL. I could not get all the damn harnesses connected properly. It took a team of people to strap me in.

Hope you guys have fun Pole Dancing! Have a great day all. I'll Pop-In again soon as I can.

I saw that truck disaster on the local news. Slow news day in Phila. Lots of Trayvonne stuff still.

I got what I wanted at the Docs yesterday. Numbers are stable, so he let me stop the Revlimid. But, not without trying to bargin..."want to try 10mgs every other day? NO.
want to go down to 5mgs daily? NO. every other day? NO."
He doesn't get it, huh? I don't want to take anything. Its a quality of life thing for me and its an improving his patient survival statistics thing for him. He's the best out there, but sometimes he can't differentiate between those two things, quality of life and stats.
Finally got him down to a 6 week trial without anything to give me a chance to recouperate again from this, what I see as useless, round of chemistry. I know I'll feel much better in a week or so as the revlimid exits my system. Then it will be time to enjoy that beautiful blue piece of electrical/ mechanical wonder of a C5 I have. The thought sounds good to me.

Thanks for the good thoughts yesterday and tolerating my bable on a daily basis. You folks make a great sounding board. Please pardon the drama.
Thank you, Alan

Alan, sometimes Drs. don't see the big picture. I hope that it all works out well for you.

A nice drive in the C5 would probably do you wonders.

Checked rockauto again today, Raybestos has a factory rebate on rotors and pads this month. 2.50 per rotor and $15.00 per box of pads, so that's an extra 40 bucks. Not bad.
