It's been a LONG time on my old wheels and tires and I finally bought and installed new ones and got it back on the ground and settled this morning.

They are MB Motoring Chrome wheels, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires.

Front - 17"x8" - 225/50/ZR17
Rear - 17"x9.5" - 235/50/ZR17

I am at this point very happy with them. I included a pic of the front assembly before I bolted on the wheels. Sorry for the low image quality but these were taken from my phone.

Thanks guys. Yeah chrome is so bright in the sun. I love how rich it looks. My old chrome wheels lasted me since '99 so I hope to have these for another decade.

Quick question - Rear - 17"x9.5" - 235/50/ZR17 - isn't that tire too narrow for a 9,5 rim?

I'm probably on or near the limit. It's fine for me and my tastes and requirements. Maybe a little more of a square shoulder would have been nice but there wasn't much of a middle ground for how I wanted my overall diameter and sidewall height.

Thanks guys. I plan on taking it out for a shake down run Sunday. I haven't driven it since I redid all the rear suspension and wheels and tires. I'm expecting a some drastic differences.

I snapped a pic of the car in the driveway last Saturday. Didn't have time to take more but I'll be getting lots of new pics in the coming weeks.
