Varmints

I have the birds on the back patio. It's screened and enclosed. Birds eat .... birdseed. Do you know what else has a taste for birdseed? ... Mice and rats.

Rigginfriggin sassafrassin GD rats. Thank goodness it isn't those bigger than a cat Norway rats but the smaller feild or roof rat. So far he has evaded my attempts with the rat trap. He's triggered it but so far has avoided the inevidable. I'll go to glue traps if I have to but I hate the mess glue causes. Can't poison them because of all my other critters. I don't want and accidental kill. The hunt continues.

Good morning guys...I was so tired last night I went to bed about 10pm. I slept all night, well until I had to get up @ 6am to pee.

Supposed to be hot today, in the lower 90's.

10:00 PM was about the time I used to get ready to go out. Now it's about the time for "Lights out!" How much sleep does a guru average? For me it's around 7 hours. 11:00 PM to 06:00 AM. That's what I need if I want to function properly.

Greetings, and rat-b-gone mojo, Tommy! Lazy day here, took today off to play golf. It's supposed to be decent out - you can see bits of sunshine if you use your imagination. I might have to save a little imagination for my scorecard.

Enjoy your day, all!

I should work today, the flooring is done, right up to the last 2 strips to close to the wall to use the air stapler, each piece of flooring has to be drilled, hand nailed and countersunk.

I should work today, I may work today, I'm thinking about workin' today.

Good Morning CGs!

I think my long days in the past two weeks finally caught up with me. Wasn't feeling 100% last night, couldn't keep my eyes open. Called in today for a day off. I slept 9 1/2 hours and woke up tired. We'll see how today goes. Taking the rugrats to the mall to get #1's birthday pictures taken.

Supposed to do concrete tonight if the weather cooperates.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I read that. Sounds like that judge doesn't know what he's talking about. Once you throw something out, it's considered abandoned in the legal system. And the video surveillance doesn't sync up with the supposed ticket purchase time? No go in my book.

The sun is shining once again and it's time to get off my ass. Can't use the rain as an excuse anymore. Too much to do and little motivation to do it. Had a pleasant thought yesterday. Realized (once again) how lucky I am to still be alive. So, I have no choice but to make today count. Not everybody I know/knew has been so fortunate. That's a good reason to dance.

I think they both should get a mil. The one that found the ticket and then the party responsible for the "No win" ticket display should pay the original ticket holder for dispaying misinformation. Matter of fact, I should get a mil for coming up with the idea.

I spent the day working at Atlanta Motorsports Park, my last day working there, next time I go back I will be 'racing'. Racing in the slowest novice group that is.
After working then I got on the track and ran some laps just to get the feel of it. It is a lot more challenging than Road Atlanta, and I am betting on a lot of 'incidents' out there. Tomorrow is their official opening day with members only racing, then after that there will be open track days.

good evenin... hot and sunny here all day then just as I was leaving the gym a huge cloud followed me home with high winds, cool air and sprinkles. Now it appears the sun's coming back out. It's Arkansas, if you don't like the weather hang around a bit, it'll change. Speaking of - the lady that threw her ticket away should get HER money from that machine company that told her it was a no good ticket. The other? Finder's keepers... it was in the trash...
But on an upper note for the day - had to get some asthma relief meds at Walgreens and for those if you are under 40 they card you. They carded me. I was thrilled. Now I know I"m getting old... kinda felt like 21 again there for a minute..

It's high performance driving, not racing.

Had to say it Andy and always will.

The difference is profound.

Was still a little groggy in the morning, but when we got home from the mall and lunch the neighbor was set on doing concrete. So we knocked out that project. Start to finish was maybe 6-7 hours, but the end is just waiting for it to dry enough that you can do the finish work on the top. Turned out halfway decent.
