I've seen that image before. Some forums won't allow it to be posted because of the brain matter on the trailer door above the driver's portion of the wreckage.

The best thing about a text is it stays there. If someone sends you an address or directions you have it to reference back to. I like talking face to face. Talking over a phone is awkward and I am unable to read body language without seeing the person I am talking to. |

Whether or not texting caused that I can't say. Unfortunate nonetheless and a reminder to pay attention while driving and not do anything that distracts you, including texting.

Farmers have discovered texting.....so I get a bunch everyday. They text from the cab of their tractors because the GPS auto steer is on and they don't have anything else to do......

The son of a coworker of mine was killed a bit back by a man who was texting and driving. It resulted in the creation here of "Paul's Law" - I worked with his mother for 16 years.
that pic scares the poop out of me too, I text and drive some, not like I used to and still working to get out of the habit - it only takes a second to make a deadly mistake. |

My wife and I rarely get text. We have informed all our friends and family not to do it because we won't answer. We tell them if it's important, call. We answer all our emails from home. Like I said earlier, we don't keep up with the latest tech. We're more old fashioned. I was just telling my son I may have to upgrade my home computer. It's going on 9 years old. We both agree. It's given me a good run. I'm not replacing it till it dies though. Hopefully, I will have backed up all my important docs and photos. I haven't done it yet.
Better put it on my list ..... again.... |
