I'm up early, they woke me upto give my pain meds, vitals and put me back on this bending machine. They have cranked up the angle of bend another 5 degrees. With the swelling, the first five or six rotations were almost unbearable....pain level near that 11. Pain meds kicking in now, so it is bearable. The zero degrees is just about as bad, keep those thoughts and prayers coming my way.

What's odd with the human mind is whatever you're going through now seems to take an eternity. In the future it will not seem as burdensome. Look to the future. At this time, it's all about baby steps. Steady progress a little at a time. No pain, no gain. Fight through the pain to a brighter future. You can do it Tom. You're a manly man doing manly things. Believe that the harder you work now the better your recovery and regaining your range of motion.

Your lucky numbers today are 6,9,13,15 and 27.

Good Morning CGs!

Should be a nice day today weather-wise. Work and maybe a few projects after work? Dunno what the wife has planned yet. I can always find something to do, just like Tommy.

Have you ever looked through your email "inbox"? I sifter through it the other night and deleted 6 or 700 old emails...not spam, either. Just crap that built up and I never deleted. I'm like a packrat, even with emails. Now it's cleaned up pretty well except for the good stuff I wanted to save. Amazing how quick it builds up, though.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I looked at my schedule for today. Hhhhmmmm. Another blank page. That just means I'll do what I'll do when I do it.

Good morning! Gonna be warm here today, but it looks like it could rain anytime. The topless Vette is in the garage.

Pain mojo, Tom - hopefully gritting it out early will yield a quicker recovery.

That is one lousy location those folks have - what a PITA!

Drink up and have a great day!

Hey guys, after the pain meds kicked in and I laid the bed down I was able to actually sleep for about 3 hours. Good sleep...It was a good thing that I left the machine on it limbered up the knee some.

Another round of pain meds . I need them to kick in before therapy. Think I'm going backward today, which they say is not unusual .

Well I've been and had a shower, that felt good. Now they have me back into the torture machine., bumped them another 5 degrees...oh boy.

My FIL entered my wifes name in a contest to sail on the Team Sanya sailboat with the crew. She'll be boarding tomorrow morning at 09:00 and sailing on board for several hours. She'll then be treated to a ride back to the Port of Miami in a speedboat. She is looking forward to going.

Hardly, I had a "Disco Sucks" tee shirt.......which really pissed off a bunch of people I knew.

Arr Arr.....I had one that said Death before Disco....same reaction.....

80% of my friends in central Pa. were top 40 listeners (that's why they were so boring).

They really hated that shirt. I wore it a lot.

The other 20% of my friends wanted to buy one.

More on Team Sanya

The last sailboat I was on was a long time ago, my buddie bought one of the HobieCat's that ran the HobieCat Nationals in Ocean City, Md.

He told me he sailed them all the time in Hawaii, ua-huh.
We were a mile offshore when he screwed up and pitchpoled tha damn thing.

It's not easy to get an upsidedown Hobie right side up.
