Had my headlight motors rebuilt and installed, worked fine , now all of a sudden they wont go up or down ??

What could it be ????? switch under dash?

Are you gettng power at the motor? Did you check the fuse?

I find references to the firewall - not sure if your year is inside the dash or in the engine compartment.

But I found there should be a 40a relay for the headlight doors. Might be that, not sure where it is exactly.

The fuse box is under the dash above the dimmer sw.

However, there is no fuse for the headlight doors.

I'll get you some more info after I wake up.

First, do you have power to the motors?
Check the DrG or Y wires at the motors with the switch engaged (up or down).
The switch just reverses polarity.
Check the red wire on the switch for power.
The power comes from the headlight sw. thru that 40a circuit breaker to the door sw. red wire.

Also the firewall connector.

Back trace from the motors to the switch.

Some guys have taken the switch apart and cleaned the contacts.

But first you have to know where you have power and where you don't.
