There are (of course) no replica batteries for a C4 - most folks just put in a modern AC/Delco "service replacement" and take the points deduction.
If you know you can't take that much of a points loss on the battery (perhaps because there are other issues with your relatively high mileage car) you might decide to completely redraw battery labels from old photos in Adobe Illustrator and print them at obscenely high quality on pricy extremely high gloss inkjet label paper. At least that's what I did ... And yes, repop decals are perfectly legit. now all he needs is the right black cased battery to put these decals on. That is impressive, John! Seriously so!!! |

Those look great. I have a 89 that I am restoring, would you know where I could find out what the OEM battery lables looked like? thanks
