So we all know that higher your rank the better your living right? I wanted to see how many SM's have made it through differant rank structers. For instance, if you were enlisted and then went WO or Officer and then how far you made it in each. Right now I am a E-6 SSG in the army and I am going to try for WO1 in avaition My lifestyle will change as I will be making more than 400 dolllars then I make now. 1 year after that I will make WO2 which is even better.

I'm a SSGT for life here. (see other thread)
My brother in law however went from E6 to O1 in the Air Guard. He's now the commander of his communications flight as a captain. I dont think he's complaining

I went in as enlisted and retired as an O-5. I already had a degree though. Vietnam had something to do with it.
