donegal: would anyone know about a 1975 coupe that had a one peice bumper meaning from the t tops back is one peice and a duck tail? I,m interested in buying it but I,m a little puzzeled .wwhy would it be one peice??? please help!

If I'm interpreting correctly you're saying there is no bumper seam. From the T-tops back, the rear clip is one piece from top to bottom until the bumper. The bumper, or rear 'cap' so to speak, was always bolted on after '73. In '74, the split pieces were bolted on, and in '75 they switched to a one piece bumper, but it still bolted on and there was a seam all the way around.

I is getting more and more common for that bumper to be blended in using body work, creating a seamless look. The downside is that if you have rear end damage, it isn't as simple as just unbolting the broken bumper and replacing it with a new one.
