I'm hunkered down for 9 hours today and 6 hours tomorrow for the last non-merger Rolex.

Anybody else joining me?

They're bitchin; about the rule changes.

Boris (driving a beemer) said Porsche bambozzled Grand Am on the rules. The Porsches are a lot faster on the straight than the others.

But 24 hours is a good equalizer,

Haven't missed a minute. Yeh, it's gonna take some sort of issue or late race mistake for the 01 to lose this one. Just glad there's still some competition on the lead lap.

Does Montoya have another stint driving the BMW? If so, there is still a good chance for one of the Corvette DPs!evil4

Ganassi team just tweeted that the 02 has a broken gearbox.  Can only hope that the 01 follows suit. evil4

Bill, do you think that Ganassi is still sandbagging?  Just running hard enough to stay ahead?  Wouldn't make much sense, would it?

Pruett's only in for one stint - says his ankle is hurting from that nasty 1990 crash ...

Donno but, the "To finish first, first you have to finish" is really what an endurance race is about. These guys (at the front) are driving at 95 to 100%.

In another hour or so, they;ll kick it up to 110%.

Watch for Pruett to pick up the pace soon. He's very smart and drives a lot of races behind the leader....until the last few laps.
Hope the Vettes are up to it.
