Spent the day cleaning up the 928. Here are a few pics. The engine is running solid. I have a clutch issue that we're sorting and there are some electrical issues to get to. Mainly a widow isn't workiing, interior lighting and some other stuff.

I have a temp tag on there while I wait for my vanity plate. The plate for this car will be FOR KEV. It was my brothers project. He passed away about 5 years ago. His son asked me if I would like to have the car. I said YES!Since we have had it, the top end was rebuilt, gas tank cleaned, new fuel pumps, filters, brakes and rotors, front end linkage replaced, new tires, plugs , cap, wires, coil, belts, injectors rebuilt by FIC, clutch plates. intermediate plate, bearings, slave hydrolic hose, and more.
You can only imagine how expensive the rebuild was. Porsches and Corvettes share high parts pricing.

My eyes are watering and closing. They must be trying to tell me something.

I was going to say the paint looks pretty good on it. Is that the original paint? Hope you have some fun with the car. You don't see many of them around especially up here....

Third color. Light blue, to red to black. The car is definately a 15 footer but I'm happy with that. I have to repaint the metal just in front of the windsheild and repair some of the driver side rear quarter just under the window. No body work, just chip, sand and paint. Most of our cars are 15 footers except for the 87 911. If I was going to have just one car it would be different. Then it would get all my attention.

Not to be a wise ass....................nevermind...........beeing a wiseass........

Doesn't the throttle body look like a giant arachnid ???

You could paint some eyes and fangs on the front and put "Nasty 928" on the top.

that's the Porsche manifold, Bill... they used that on the 928 for YEARS...

Tommy - It looks GREAT! It's been a long road, but it's all good. You have a kick ass car and a nice keepsake.

I love the backseats... no way in hell I am getting back there!!!

I have always liked the 928. It suits me... size, performance, style. I never could figure out why it wasn't a better selling car (well, I do know, them damned 911 geeks who don't accept change).

I can't wait to see it!!!

No,(unless you call a Saturn a car). He was an artist, musician and writer. He sunk his money into guitars, recording equipment and gizmo's.
