It's Joe's (the restomod guy), he had the front end and suspension apart, went over the whole car in 2 weeks and it's now for sale.

Probably a 300 horse but does sound a but lumpy at idle.
Yea, 4 speed.
Drives real nice.

Unfortunately, no.

It did come with a hard top but that top went into the dumpster , I've never seen one that wasn't repairable but this one was.

I didn't look all that close, I was helping on a few suspension things.

It needed cleaned but it looked pretty good at a glance.

If I had to guess, I'd say nothing needs replaced.

Well, that intake and air cleaner would indicate a 365...unless it has been changed. The tach redline would give a clue.

Too bad it's white or I would buy it

Really, if I were in the market that seems like a great car.

I would buy that car. There's only one thing stopping me. Actually it's more like 26000 things that are stopping me .......

64s are often a tough sale (not the first year 63, no disc brakes like the 65) but that allows people into the mid-year part of the hobby who might not otherwise be able to afford it.

Honest question, Bill: why the 1967 seats? Are they notably better?

No idea. The seats are different but NOT that different.

Joe flips C2's. He got this one at the right price and did some good stuff to it (see post 1). The top alone is over $1k. So, for a decent price, you get a nice driver.

He's on the lookout for C2's to buy 365 days a year.

He either fixes up drivers like this one and makes a few bucks or does the expensive restomods.
I don't think he's paying himself a big hourly wage especially with what it takes to build a resto.
