I was just pricing some 1st and 2nd generation Corvettes. You never know when you might come into some money so it's best to be prepared.

Sorry I missed this earlier.

Elbow is better, not as tender, swelling pretty much gone, still red but not hot anymore. Haven't heard a thing today, guess we'll have to call tomorrow to see if they know anything.

OK, I just sat down and Rosie came in and said she DID talk to the Dr. office. they said there was not enough uric acid for it to be gout. Not enough white cells to be infected too bad. I can stop taking the medicine, if the pain is gone, still a tender spot or two, so I'll continue with it a few more days.

Be very, very careful. Today's pricing doesn't reflect car condition or car value.

Each car has to stand on it's own and they are hard to evaluate without years of experience.

For less than the cost of a CarFax, you could join NCRS for a year, see members cars for sale (yes, there are some reasonable ones) and have access to the members that do car inspections.
And the NCRS forum which has some extremely knowledgeable people (and you you don't have to play "who's full of chit" like on CF.

Might be a decent driver but, why is the guy taking a $25k hit?
This guy says he's done 6 restorations, then says the paint was taken down to the gelcoat .......funny, NO Corvette was ever gelcoated.
And if he's done restorations, why not post a pic of the engine stamp pad?
The splash shields are missing, a restoration with a $30 part left off?

$50k is an average price for good driver, maybe.

"Numbers matching" doesn't have a lot of meaning anymore, people cheat.

There's a some aftermarket things on the car.

A guy on CF probably has $5k in travel expenses just looking for a good 63, every one he's looked at was not nearly "as advertised".

Even a C2 beater would be nice. Weathered, worn and blowing a little smoke would be OK for the right (low) price.

$34k and you wouldn't be happy when you had to pay someone to replace the rear wheel bearings, etc.
