2. Law. a legal notice to a court or public officer to suspend a certain proceeding until the notifier is given a hearing: a caveat filed against the probate of a will.

I am going to the Dentist today hope I don't have a caveat.

I am going to an Orthodontest or however you spell it...this computer is so old it does not have spell check on it. Seems I'm grinding my teeth to stubs on one side of my mouth so my regular Dentist is wanting me to go see the other Dentest.....I hope I don't have to wear braces...

Monday......-5 degrees and I see there is windchill warnings from the Canadian border all the way down to the Mexican border......that's a long ways.....47 by Thursday though....bring it, I'm soooo ready for it.

More work less play and not a lot of fun right now but it could always be worse.

Did not watch the acadamy awards last night....I never do but I see that Gravity won 7 of the little gold men....all for special affects....good flick if you haven't seen it......

Ok.....welcome back Brad hope your day of adjustment goes well and glad you made it back safe Tom.....have a good safe day Guru's....

Recently at a party Matt was enjoying a particularly pungent canapé. He asked the server if he might have a little more caveat.

I had a busy and productive day yesterday (as I try to do everyday). Cut grass at all three nurseries and finished up a diamond shaped plant island I was working on. After that I went to a plant sale that Sue was doing at the local Asian Festival. It was taking place at the county Fruit and Spice Park. Helped them load the truck after the close of the show. She made good money and met many new potential customers. That's what it's all about. The show season will shut down after May for a several months but till then it's busy, busy busy. Busy is good. $$$

Do you know the best cure to deal with snoring? Ear plugs. Tell your wife to wear ear plugs.

Good Morning CGs!

Glad you made it home safe and sound, Brad.

Marcus, good luck at the dentist!

Around here not much going on except the kids are already wild this morning. What else is new?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hidey-ho! It's a balmy -9 here - I think my tan fell off and shattered on the ground while walking in from the parking ramp. There is a possibility that today is the last below-0 reading we'll get this season. There is also a possibility that pigs will fly someday.

Bundle up, Gurus!

What's cool about that is that most of those guys are still driving race cars.
The guy on the far right is John Heinricy who was the assistant Chief Engineer at Corvette. He's still racing in SCCA and is 3rd on the all time list of SCCA National Champions (11 championships).

Is that Bill's racecar? If it is then that would be a track simulator to use while he builds up his motor rebuild war chest.

Yep, very necessary for race cars. Only $2,000.00
Right after that pic we added a scale platform (to be absolutely level), bought a used one for half price at $1,000.

Julian just put the Reynard up for sale - $30,000.

Is a repaint included in the price?

Hardly

I about threw up when I first saw it then remembered the Benetton F1 car.

I told Julian it would be $5k to paint it, he declined.

The F1

Well it was an interesting weekend here in the Buckeye State. My brother (a flea market afficianado) was able to pick me up a set of original, pointy metal tipped, guaranteed to kill your kids if you aren't careful Jarts. I on the other hand won a box of 90 Hot Wheels cars at a Chinese Auction. I will be keeping at least 2 a C3 and the 2009 C7 concept with the split window. 10 Mustang and Shelbys go to brother as partial Jarts payment. The rest may very well go to Toys for Tots this fall as they are all on the original packaging.
