Temps today will stay in the 20's. On with today. Wife is driving to work and said it's pretty slippery out there. Picked up my new tires yesterday. I am happy with them and got an even better deal than I thought from my buddy at the tire store. I think I am going to order two more for the front. The old ones only have less than 10k miles but from the production date they are almost 8 years old. New tires: Finally got a picture of the paint job in the living room: Wife told me she wants to replace the picture with a mirror. OK dear, whatever you say. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew

Up early for a 7:30 meeting....it never sounds bad when you make the appointment but now I'm thinking...WTH..was I thinking.... Well we are back going full bore so never a boring moment...one of the help unhooked the flatbed gooseneck trailer yesterday and did not unplug the power cord to the trailer and ripped all the wire out of it.....took an hour to make that all good again....oh well..... More later as the day progresses.....ring...ring....nuts gotta go.....lets be careful out there Guru's...

Line all the seating furniture with clear vinyl and don't allow anybody to use it. You can tell everybody it's for company, then keep them out of there too. That plant in the corner could use a little water, trim the dead leaves off the bottom and turn it to make it bend to the sunlight. Better yet, buy a silk plant. No water, no maintenance.

Our neighbor gave it to us because she thought it was giving the kids allergies. It was actually more brown when she gave it to us. It was in the front room in front of the window, but when we got a smaller couch I needed something to fill that corner. Tommy, should I cut off just the brown parts or the entire leaf?

Tommy, if I have a plant that I water like I'm supposed to and it turns brown and crusty what's the problem? This thing will go outside soon anyway and should be fine there but for now... is it cold? I have to put it by a window for sun but it does get kinda chilly there. In other news the '03 at the shop is due out this week and it's daylight to midnight all help on deck - two of us sanding all day yesterday on it, then one left sanding and me wiping down the engine area some (not detail, he ain't paying for that) and putting back on all the 'bling' on the thing. Pic attached of that mess. I'd never have all that shit. Ever. There's even chrome fans down there - who's gonna ever see those? And from the looks of it he's never cleaned that mess either. Last year, traffic was stopped both ways on the 110 in the early afternoon - very strange time of day to have traffic on the freeway. Then I saw what it was - a CHP officer was clearing several tumbleweeds that big from the freeway! They were as tall as he was!

That was my point but they use paint, gels and a host of un edible materials to make them look pretty. I keep meaning to order a burger or sandwich that looks exactly like the one in the picture or you have to remember to request extra lettuce tomato, pickles and sauce. Wendy's used to do that for me when I ordered a bacon burger. It was excellent that way.
