Hi my name is Michelle i am single so no man to help me with vehicle problems and crooked mechanics,,,, if you guys could help me out here i would be very very grateful.
i downloaded a manual from here a couple yrs ago,however the chapter i need is for transmission chapter 7 and it is not in there. right now don't have money to buy it for $200. Does anyone out there have it downloaded? Please,,,,,,,,,,,, I NEED HELP And the very nice honest guy who is helping me said fans won't work |

I don't have one. Welcome aboard. I'm sure some one here will chime in who has one or knows where to get one for you. If you could describe the problem your having and maybe we all can help fix it too.

You didn't download the manual from here... that I can be assured of!
However, if you go to ebay, you can find the factory service manual on DVD for about $20.00. It covers all years from 1997 thru 2009, and all GM products. Pretty cool, really. What year do you have and what is your problem? Also, where are you located, in general. We have members all around the world and someone might be able to help you out. |

That would be great. Trans gets to 3rd gear then starts surging in and out of second and third.

That trans issue is interesting. I would bet money it's electronic and not mechanical.
I have the factory service DVD, and over the next 36 hours or so (after I fix my Vette and the wife's Suburban), I will check those symptoms, and also check for any TSBs - Technical Service Bulletins. TSBs are a way for the factory to fix things for free without issuing a recall. |

Year? Number of miles? Previous history? When does the problem occur? Anything else would be helpful. |
