I went out on sunday to check it out, unfortunately the camera died so no pictures.
I have to say C4's were poorly represented at the show. I only saw maybe 4 or 5 max while there. It's funny since back in May when I went to the All GM show there were quite a few there and it's held in the same location.

C4 presence is hit/miss at times... they made 360k, and how many still exist? 250k? Between wrecks, expense and that trade in deal, a lot bit the big one.

Surprisingly, the first new car I ever owned was a 67 Chevelle Malibu 2dr Hardtop. I probably saw a dozen or more Malibu's and SS396's there, more than the number of C4's I saw. Another under represented group was the mid 70's Malibu's, had one of those also. On the flip side, there were a bunch of early Baricuda's, Challengers and Chargers, far more than I'd expected.
Even saw an early 70's 428 Galaxy that someone had dropped a 351 into it.
Still an enjoyable show none-the-less. Ironically when comparing my Vette to some of them there, I don't consider it a show car but it was up to par on alot of what I saw though I saw some that probably had $30k-$40K paint jobs.

If you check the counts vs collectible ranking, you will see the trend.

Cuda's, Challengers, 67 Malibu's... all A, B or C's on the collectors scale.

C4 Corvettes, mid-70s Malibu's? D's...

In short, the first list is popular, the 2nd, not so much.

I think a lot more people are still driving the c4 as opposed to showing it. Not to say that there aren't show cars out there but I don't think it is as big as some of the classic muscle.

We all know that C4's are not highly regarded except from the people in parking lots and gas stations that might say "Nice car.". When showing a C4 with other Vette generations, what gets the attention? C1, C2, C3, not in that particular order. I saw several C4's parked in front of houses a few days ago when going uptown. All of them looked well cared for. There are still a few enthusiasts around.
