Morning guys...It's a beautiful start to a Saturday her in KC. Daughter's sprinkler was misting on the Corvette, so after it was done I went out and wiped it down. Was a good thing that I coated the front (especially) with the Rejex as the bugs wiped off without hardly any effort.

To answer Marcus's question, I believe that the "skip shift" bypass was installed. Not once have I received the 1-4 notice.

The plans for today are up in the air...or no plan at all.

gloomy here, rained all night - more due for today. Hoping for cool weather instead of muggy hot stuff. Due at the back shop to meet Arron to put on my balancer at 10 - prayers that is all it is and that takes care of the issue and I can get it back on the road. I like my truck but it's getting old being in that every day.

Those Harmonic balances are a known issue, Letty. I, too, hope that fixes your problems.

Hidey-ho! I'm up early (before 10), but I'm at peace with it. Hope it dries out so I can mow the shaggy lawn later. Meanwhile, I'm gonna do the first oil change on the pickup. I bought a 2-wire actuator to convert the lock on the tailgate to power, but I don't know if I feel like tackling that. At any rate, I do plan to put a little dent in my supply of Spotted Cow later.

Well I just finished an hour and a half at the gym. Yes Tommy, that IS my idea of a nice vacation. I can be there as long as I want with no whining from the wife.

Yesterday we took the chair lift up to the top of the mountain. Unbelievable views you have to see to believe. I will try to post pictures when I get home.

TB - glad the car is running well.

I had to go buy a strap-type oil filter wrench - they apparently use gorillas to install the filters at the factory. Anyway, the truck should be good until spring. Meanwhile, I also picked up the oil and filter for the Vette - won't be long before I'll be changing oil in that before putting it to bed.

Guru balancer mojo seemed to have worked - I swear I got 75 horsepower back... the rubber ring was shot, it was all wavy. And watching it get changed - OMG - I want NO part of that.. it looked like a major PITA... and no more than he told me he'd charge me I felt bad. While it was up there discovered my oil pan bolt is leaking, need a new one there. Cleaned the inside of my rims and stuff while they were off and sway bars and such while I could get to things.
Sounds like Matt is having a good time and so is TB with his car ...

The Owls played well until their starting QB got hurt he is pretty good. Nice day out, 91K at the stadium.....it's Nebraska......everyone is happy now....

If you are like me Tee, I'm always pushing 3 grand when I shift so that would override the skip shift anyway...

Someone recently said that the Borla's are more low end rumble and the Corsa's are more raspy European sounding..which I thought was a good discription of the two exhaust sounds....
